He damaged his credibility with "Until you understand programming, you have no cause to complain" (about something we've paid for) and then subsequently blew it to smithereens with "The game was released with only a few minor issues" in the face of a whopping up-to-date bug list comprised of some pretty major issues. So yeah, he's lawyering for Bethesda. For some reason.

I've put in 80 hours, up until patch 1.2. Now its unplayable.

Were annoyed we can't play the game as it should be and wish to air our displeasure about it, what is so wrong with that? And why do you feel you have to play the role of Bethesda defender? Its a games company. Not a member of your family.

Nope. Sorry. DRUNKLASTNIGHT is one of the few intelligent sounding people in this thread. The polls are completely pointless and without merit. It has yet to be proven that the "majortiy" of people are experiencing problems. Without an unbiased sampling of the population, no one here can say how widespread the problems are. However, having been on the other side of this problem, I can say that there is always a small vocal minority that make the most noise, and my gut tells me that this is again the case. Those with problems want to make it seem larger then it is, in hopes of drawing attention to get it fixed.

And you being defensive of Bethesda does nothing for anyone at all. Furthermore, what you regard as "bashing" I and others see as "trying to improve their performance." I wouldn't bother to complain about a game I didn't like. I'd just toss it away. Nor would I try to make my voice heard to a company if I genuinely believed they were so awful and contemptuous of their players that they wouldn't give a damn. In other words, I don't believe this to be a waste of time but a worthwhile pursuit, and if you're happy and dandy with everything, that's great. Enjoy your game. Don't worry about Bethesda. As long as we are making stuff up how 'bout I call you out for receiving kick backs from Bethesda, as it's the only reason I can come up with that explains why you feel the need to constantly defend them in a situation where a blind man can see they are at fault?

He's also apparently under the impression that a consumer has no right to complain about a product when they don't have a working understanding of how to make said product---- even if they're smart enough to be aware that the product does not work as it should, and are consequently dissatisfied with their purchase. "boy"? Well there goes the last bit of respect I had. How is that you have a "right" to have them fixed? Where is it spelled out that the game is bug free? There are no legal grounds for them to have to make every aspect of the game work, therefore you don't have a "right" to have them fixed. It's in their best interest to do so for consumer happiness, but don't confuse that with "right". Sad what this country has become. Glad on not counting on the younger generation to fund social security.

Guys, certainly criticize the comments of others, but some of you are now spilling into the sphere of personal attack.

I don't think the defense for Bethesda comes from trying to justify a broken game, I think that most of us enjoy the game so much, that we have high hopes and expectations that these issues will dissolve and we can continue to enjoy the experience. Hell, my experience, even with the problems brought on by 1.2 or otherwise, has not been so detrimental as to stop me from playing the game. I have just had to adjust my style of play, which is ending (or not, as is the nature of the Elder Scrolls series ) in me feeling like I received way more than $60 worth of gameplay and is filled with priceless fun.
