Anyone else looking forwards to how Chop works? Dog looks like a beast, pun entirely intended.

Yeah, I'm surprised we didn't hear anything about him in the previews.

Speaking of animals.... the [censored] cougars are coming back from Red Dead according to Destructoid... in other words:

we're all going to die.

The ninja-bears are probably making their triumphant return as well.

It's sad that no player or NPC was the most terrifying, it was the bear and cougar that made your heart race. :cryvaultboy:

I felt the same way. I was a bit disappointed with IV's complete lack of humor or choices, that the other game's offer. After reading all the previews, I think it's time to preorder this...

GTA IV's entire atmosphere was gritty and dark. Look at the way they made the colors, they're grayish. Compared to GTA SA and GTA Vice City where the colors were vivid and bright. The humor reflects this.

They should too if you ask me. There is no thinking behind the bear or cougar's actions, it's goal is to just murder you.

Plus with people you see them coming or know where they will be, not with the animals.

Crazy Jack's been disbarred for years now. No judge or politician is going to want any connection with him anymore.

I'm glad to hear that. He would be trying his best right now to remove GTA V from shelves. His behavior in court was contemptuous and erratic I heard.

I very much like what I am hearing.

I don't really have a favourite character (so far, at least) - I think I'll enjoy using all three. Oh, and choosing your own crew/equipment/strategies etc. for heists sounds amazing.

My one problem is that I have a huge fear of deep/open water (yes, even in games) so it sounds like I'm going to miss out on quite a bit of world.

Last GTA game I ever played was Sand Andreas. I skipped IV as I heard a lot of negative things about it. I haven't been able to watch the V videos, they don't seem to want to work for me.

Ok, I just got through a few of the videos. It looks promising. I loved San Andreas so this may get me back into the GTA series.

Also, Trevor is going to be my favorite character. Micheal is too plain and a typical gangster; that is seen in a lot of games, Franklin is well...typical ghetto that you see in every GTA game but Trevor is just out there. I like him.

So if there are 9 skills for various things (like driving), how do they make driving difficult to start with, without making it frustrating. Same goes for flying and shooting.
