It was often pretty subtle in San Andreas. For vehicles, you were about as good as Tommy Vercetti was in Vice City at the start, but the controls would get progressively sharper and more responsive over time. Concerning weapons, it usually resulted in things like faster loading times for some, a greater rate of fire for others, and the ability to dual-wield some weapons, like sawn-off shotguns and Tec-9s. You never really started at a disadvantage, you just gradually got better.

I imagine it will be the same, which is good. I liked that aspect. I also liked the weight system, but I doubt that is also back.

Well, in SA, they didn't make you a horrible driver, the skill meter for transports was more less a point of access meter, and with some things having perks, not sure what cars or boats or planes had as perks for increasing the skill, but motorcycles were more less likely to fall off of when you spin to fast or crash.

Oh good. As long as they stick to that sort of formula, my only concern with the game is now gone. :D

I don't ever remember that being in San Andreas, but then again I only ever played co op with a friend at his house.

As a long time fan, I'm really hoping they bring back Fernando Martinez, he's probably one of my favourite DJ voices in the series.

No love for Lazlow?

I think it is spelled that. Shows how long it has been since I played the series :twirl:

Well, he comes and goes. He's seemingly in every game in some way shape or form.

Fernando Martinez was brilliant. Lazlow is getting a bit boring now. I also liked the married Coservative/Liberal couple from San Andreas.

Same here. I also liked Tommy ''The Nightmare'' Smith from K-DST.

I wouldn't want Axel Rose coming back to DJ again.

Great quote I just read..." Grand Theft Auto V stands in stark contrast to an industry increasingly focused on carefully rationed experiences released once every 12 months, and for that I am extremely grateful."

So true.

So is this game your new version of 'Skyrim is the best game of all time' mantra?

I think you guys are forgetting that Vice City and San Andreas came out within a year of each other.
