yep skyrim. along with all the other releases that are supposed to come out tuesday, they assumed skyrim was too. it pained me more than you know to pass up skyrim early, and i hated being "that guy" but i told them it doesn't come out till friday and the manager was really grateful.
You are truly "The Divine Crusader"!!!!!! Kudos to you!

GOOD JOB O.P.!

By the looks of this forum in the past 8 hours it seems a lot of distributors are getting into trouble with the release date.

You're the man.

Good job, OP. Less people to come onto these forums and brag about how they have the game.

Mine had Saint's Row II for rental a whole week before it came out before. They're closed down now, though. Kind of sad to see it go. :sadvaultboy:

Tuesday's are typical Movie Release dates for Video. Most game publishers follow suit and release on Tuesdays. 11-11-11 was just too cool a date to pass up, so they picked that instead of 11-8-11 which does not have the same panache.

That's because 2010 and 2011 have been two years of binary dates. :foodndrink:

Local blockbuster? A little late to the party on this thread but reminds me of this HILARIOUS Onion video on the death of Blockbusters: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TrPwOrf4sM&oref=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fresults%3Fsearch_query%3Dblockbuster%2Bonion%26aq%3Df

Especially early since considering you were in a Blockbuster it must have been 2005 at the latest.

As far as i know it was only the US bluckbusters that had to close... I am currently only a 100 meters from a blockbuster shop in Denmark!

No actually I was just being facetious, if memory serves there are one or two blockbusters in my hometown in Cali still.
