Surely he wouldn't be able to play it till friday anyhow, or was it an Xbox copy and xbox live doesn't care?
He pre-ordered a ps3 CE.

JVM441, thank you for being that guy. (Faith in humanity restored).

Really? A guy pulling a video game off a shelf because it's 2 days early that comes and brags about it online restores your faith in humanity? Frankly, it takes a little bit of mine away reading posts like yours.

Maybe I can restore your faith by explaining you that something wonderful called "Humor" exists?

So do games normally come out on a tuesday? I've never been interested in game releases untill Skyrim, but couldn't help but notice that CoD:MW3 comes out on a tuesday as every single advertisment hoarding in Manchester is covered in them.

Films are traditionally released on fridays and opening weekend sales are measured accordingly.

In the US games usually come out on tuesdays (as well as DVD/bluray movies). Not sure what the typical UK/Europe release day is.

You're a really nice guy. I wish we had forum gifts or points or something to reward you :)

I agree. At least you weren't an ass, grabbed an early copy, and came onto these forums and started bragging to us about it.

Have an ice cream for that. :icecream: ^_^

Wouldn't call it sarcasm as they were supporting the OP. I would say they were over emphasizing it, but it wasn't sarcastic.

Better hope no one saw you.

If I saw you do that we'd be having this conversation face to back of face.

yep skyrim. along with all the other releases that are supposed to come out tuesday, they assumed skyrim was too. it pained me more than you know to pass up skyrim early, and i hated being "that guy" but i told them it doesn't come out till friday and the manager was really grateful.

You did the right thing in my opinion. I have respect for you.

They already did go out of business, they were just bought out by another company.

Dish Network bought Blockbuster for $500 Million. They are going to keep 700 stores in the nation opened and keep their mail service going as well. Dish Network has already integrated Blockbuster into Dish Network Services.

Thank you for being that guy.

No one likes to feel cheated from playing by the rules.

Hopefully the manager actually cared that it was a mistake, instead of "meh, I need to full retail space".

Who cares it just means someone doesn't get to enjoy the game a little earlier and you get to feel good about yourself for some reason. Really it's just a game at the end of the day.
