But that is only one person, one person is not a whole faction.
The Knights Of The White Stallion is a faction with only 1 person in it ;)

What it could be. Hopefully 3-4 hrs

Hearth Fire- You are wandering around Skyrim when you hear a thunder crack, and sonic boom. You look up to see a tear in the sky and a strange light emitting from the tear pointing somewhere. You decide it is best to tell the college of winterhold about it. When you arrive everyone is panicking and there are Psijic monks in the hall of elements waiting for you. When you approach them they tell you that you must come with them, and that the eye of magnus including several other artifacts were stolen. The artifacts could be sunder, mantella, wraithguard, sigil stones ect. Before they finish there is a mini earthquake and you fall down. The screen goes black and all you here are people screaming and a psijic monking say we must leave now. Suddenly a flash of light and your transported to their island. The monks get into detail how a order of necromancers have risen and they are being led by their lich king "name". The monks give you quests blaah blaah blaah, you get spell tomes and robes, and new stuff from then. Halfway through you have a chance to join the bad guys and they give you robes, and spell tomes. Finally at the end you learn what the eye of magnus does, it transcends someone to a higher existence for a short while. If you equip it in your powers you have unlimited magic for 180 secs, including powers like flying, mind bending where you force the target you are aiming at to kill themselves ect.

New Spells:

Teleportation

Water Magic

Earth Magic

Soul trap everyone with in 15 feet

Dragon Mounts

Unlock doors

Summon Lich

New Items:

Psijic Robes

Amulet of Magnus

Lich crown

lich robes

lich shoes

lich gloves.
Oh no... Another person who wants Dragon Mounts. You are kidding..right?

Well I hope they give soon us a new Spoiler or something to be hyped about for the next expansion , so we can start guessing on more solid arguments than just a registered trademark ...

For what I posted befoure I woudl be even satified if they just add SPEARS!!!

I can think of so many times that a company trademarked a word or phrase from their games, and every single time it was either an expansion, or new game. The trademarks really are almost a 100% guarantee of new content, especially if the name is related to a past release or series (and the trademarks always being for something relating to games, downloadable games, etc guarantees that it will be a game).

Hearthfire is a month in the Elder Scrolls universe, and I were a betting man I'd bet you one-hundred dollars that Hearthfire is going to be some new content for Skyrim.

If you start to pay attention to games and expansions releases, you'll notice that trademarks are just about the safest way to foretell the announcement of an upcoming game, or an update for it.

I've been doing that since they trademarked the names of the New Vegas dlcs

If Hearthfire = Spell Creation
then care;
else don't care.
Hearthfire needs to be a magic based DLC, Mages were majorly handed the short end of the stick in this game.

I want something based on the Cthulhu mythos, with ancient black cities, and dark beings older then time itself, and the DLC is Un-winable, all you can do is run, or go insane.

I'd like to see a DLC like this add general stuff and time-based changes around Skyrim, ala the changes brought in New Vegas by GRA and JE Sawyer's mod.

If anything, I'd like to see things like holidays and seasons in Skyrim, along with a few extra dungeons and quests to add true content. Stuff that would both take advantage of the ingame clock and make for long lasting fun that makes it worth the $20.

After all, who wouldn't want to see Heimskr preaching a winter holiday while covered in snow rather than his usual [censored]ing about Talos the Mighty.

Changes that could be added include:

-Seasonal Foliage
-New Dungeons
-City-based Holidays that radically change NPC schedules and dialouge for a day, along with the internal cells of cities
-Moar unique loot, which can only be acquired through coughing upwards of 10,000 gold to a shopkeeper
-Better effects for drugs
-A couple new quests

Might not seem like much to laymen, but it could potentially improve the game a load.

Note that this probably won't actually be.

I couldn't care less about Seasonal Foliage, I don't know off the top of my head which months in game translate to real months. Would feel like a gimmick to me.

I can almost guarantee the appearance of spears. Crossbows and spears being the most requested weapons to return to the series, and crossbows already been added to Dawnguard, it seems logical that the next DLC with include spears. Also, due to the kind of "teaser appearance" of the Psijic Order in the main game, and how they took the Eye of Magnus without us knowing what it really is, I can foretell them to be the center of the next DLC. And of course, spell-making.

Hopefully Bethesda wasn't too far in development of Hearth Fire before the reviews of Dawnguard came out, criticizing it for its lack of new regions. That way they could take back that idea of "Dawnguard being the largest and most expensive piece of DLC" (which was a stupid mindset anyways) and develop larger pieces of DLC.

Edit: Heartfire (AKA Hearthfire) contains a holiday with something to do with the Psijic Order...

New creatures like goblins , cliffracers and other older unfeatured creatures... Perhaps even cats....
What are you talking about? The cliffracers are all dead!

I honestly think the eye of magnus and the Psijic order will feature in a future TES game. If it is in a dlc it would be have to be unlocked by doing the mages guild and if not would contain massive spoilers about the questline.

The ability to summon a Daedric Prince to fight for you like Merhunes Dagon, or Molag Bal could be added to conjuration.

I find only 3 of the five magic schools are useful, I never use Illusion or alteration, I see them as useless

Illusion is good when in the heat of the battle with low health and you need to pacify someone. Alteration I have at 100 but I rarely use it besides paralyze.

I kinda wish they'd make a sixth, lost/forbidden school of magic but that might come off as a bit cliche

In oblivion they had mysticism I forget what it did though, I think it was a combination of alteration and illusion.

I keep hearing this. Source?

All I remember is Todd saying that not all DLCs will be at the $20 price-point, which I interpreted as "don't expect the next DLC or two to be big", not "Dawnguard will be the biggest DLC we ever do."

I don't even care, I just wish Bethesda would stop making those exclusivity deals, i'm on the ps3 and all I get is a vague one month later release date

Hearth fire will most likely be 10-15 dollar range while the "big" DLC will be 25 min

why would you think the next dlcs will be smaller by todd saying they all won't be $20?? It could mean the dlcs could be $30 which would make the size of them like shivering isles.

To be honest SI has a big flaw, if they make it canon, that would mean they left Jygalagg out of Skyrim for no reason and if it isn't than it was a rather big waste of time
