I've heard that tall people have a hard time getting clothes and such, but still...
That is very true. I'm 6'7" and it's extremely difficult to find clothing that fits me (especially pants). In the past four years, I've only managed to find eight pairs of pants that fit me comfortably, and they were each around $100. Keep in mind that these were intended to be for everyday use (i.e., they were going to end up with holes and such in them). And looking for the same 'size' pants doesn't help, since 'sizes' aren't universal across companies, or even consistent within the
same company. I have two pairs of pants from Nautica that fit comfortably and allow me full range of motion, but their tags say they're different 'sizes'. But, when actually measured, their dimensions are the same. What's even worse is that I have to order pants online, since I can't find a single clothing store (or department store) withing 80 miles that sells pants that fit me.
And that's just pants. Then there's the whole 'bump-my-head-five-to-ten-times-
every-single-day-because-I'm-just-so-damned-tall' issue. And when I go to a department store, every 10 minutes I have somebody ask me "Can you get that down for me?"
And I do get whatever it is down for them. My height might be a pain in the rear (well, more of a pain in the head) for me, but at least it can be useful to others.
On the plus side, nobody has kicked my a** since I...achieved altitude, but that's mainly because nobody who's wanted to can kick that high.
TL;DR version: You may not like being...vertically challenged, but being tall isn't necessarily all it's made out to be.
