Height

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 4:15 am

I'm a short female, 5'2". I've dated short and tall men. My husband is 5'7". Insecure people put too much emphasis on physical characteristics we have no control over, like height. Or eye /hair color. One of my BFF's is a statuesqe six foot blonde, she looks like Marilyn Monroe. Gorgeous and bubbly. And her husband is ........4'10". I [censored] you not. He is one of the most funny people I know, and a pleasure to be around.

Be yourself, OP. Any girl who has an issue with your height isn't worth your time.

I'm 17 and about 6'3" tall. The best thing I can think of about being tall is, I can see over most people at things like sporting events.

The worst, I hit my head on stuff alot.(like low doorways) You'd think I'd be used to ducking by now, but I'm not.
Also, I don't fit well in some cars.

But I do have to say, that I like being tall, although it would be nice if I were a little shorter.

I know exactly what you mean. haha

I'm about 5'10" give or take a quarter inch, and I'm constantly banging my head on things, especially cars. I've shut my head in the hatchback door on my mom's car by accident. I've also been whacked in the face with a lock bolt that was jutting off the corner of a door, and the shelf next to the hallway that leads to my bedroom is perfect shoulder height.

So needless to say being moderately tall is nice, however you tend to run into things a lot more.

I don't really understand the desire to be tall. It doesn't really provide any advantages over being short.

I am 5 foot 9, I think that is average. So I guess I have the best of both worlds.

It's not really. But I'm the tallest in my family. Second being my dad at 5'7". It's not really a problem, I just run into things that most of my family can avoid. The only cars I have trouble with are sedans and low sitting cars, I always whack my head on the roof getting in.

That's just the kind of thing a short person would say.

When I look straight ahead, all I see is T!Ts, and all you need is confidence to get good looking women. If I can do it at 4'10ish anyone can!

My only problem with short people is they're always looking up to those who look down on them.

Annoying....I can't fit in one of the sacks used to go down a helter skelter!!!
Sometimes the bus seats are really low so it feels like I fell before landing on the seat, but besides taking up space in already cramped locations is bad.
But mostly its all good.

Recently, I've been feeling really down about my height.

I see what you did there.

5'8" and still growing... I won't lie, I like taller guys. I can't imagine being too far on either end of the scale is very pleasant though.
