Hints found about the next DLC Found in 1.8 Beta

Post » Tue Oct 16, 2012 5:24 am

nah i'm betting we do the trimac thing and do the heart ripping, way easier to play after the end boss fights, still that is a cool bit to speculate on. Damn i'm getting excited and it isn't even announced yet

I'm down with that. My Dovahkiin is an Orc, afterall. Who better to tear out hearts than a child of the one who invented the art - Trinimac?

It could also have something to do with Briarhearts.

Moderators don't know anything that we don't.

But they do know when someone is trolling. Already, Ive seen in the past when members put inaccurate things of this nature, and they quickly lock the thread.

Mardoxx mentioned that "Paired_DLC02RipHeartOut" was next to the other finishing moves, so my immediate thoughts on this is that we might possibly be getting a hand to hand fighting style? Thoughts?

It just made me think of the Indiana Jones movie Temple of Doom where the guy says, "Kalima! Kalima!" then pulls the guy's heart out.

Excuse my ignorance but what's the story with DovahBear? Was it a thing or well what happened exactly, I've been gone a while here.

Now that....would be something spectacular. I am interested with this move though. I hope it doesn't look cheesy or anything since I feel that would ruin the moment. I'm all for a hand-to-hand perk tree or something along the lines, but how many people can tear another's heart out with their bare hands? Kind of hoping this is for a scripted scene as opposed to a finishing move. That's my opinion though.

Some guy during the beta leaked that dawnguard had werebears (Which was a lie) and it took what 15 pages for the mods to close the thread.

What was worse was when everyone has "RIP Dovahbear" in their bios. That made the truth hurt even more. Damnit.

I really hope this isn't a stupid finisher, Dovakiin really becoming a legend, would of course be nice since he ist the las dragonborn and maybe the last Incarantion of Lorkhan he has to do something more then defeat a cliche black dragon with red eyes.

I like to call it the werebear scandal. I am not sure if I am allowed to talk about it in detail, so I will leave it at that. To me it is known as the werebear scandal.

I hope they allow us to do a truly evil act that crosses the line from villain to complete monster.

I wonder if it will be connected to the map, meaning that I can swim to it(like how it was in Morrowind) or will it be like Shivering Isles/Mournhold seperated from the map.

even i joined the uprising in that time with pro-dovahbear posts, that was a happy and sad day when dawnguard was released and our hopes for werebears crushed q-q...

Doubt we'll be able to swim to it. Loading screens are the way of the future. OoooOOOooooOOOOo.

But then again, we could swim to Castle Volkihar.

Don't see why not... but it will probably be much faster, less exhausting and safer (no invincible Slaughterfishes) to use a regular method.

Wait. We could swim to Solstheim in Morrowind? Of all the time spent playing that game, I never even bothered to try. :woot:

What other purpose would there be behind adding a saddle bone to the dragon body data?
