My bets for games that may be somewhere in the top 10:
New Vegas

Witcher II

Calling it. At least 5 are going to be in the actual top 10.

Honestly, I feel I will just get annoyed if I follow the list.

The fact that New Vegas is only #89, and that I know games like Fallout 3 and Skyrim are going to be lower on the list, well . . . I don't know how they are rating roleplaying games.

Planescape: Torment deserves to be in the #1 spot. Just saying. It's not going to, but it should be there. And New Vegas should be much, much lower on the list.

If FFVIII is 97, KH is 84, and KHII is 68, then you know something is wrong. :ermm:

Edit: And if bloody Paper Mario is a better RPG than most of the games listed, then I don't know what basis they're judging these games on...

Well, I liked both Skyrim and Fallout 3 better than New Vegas, but otherwise I agree that #89 is a preposterous ranking. I stopped taking the list seriously (well, giving it the benefit of the doubt at any rate) as soon as I saw that.

I've no idea what will come where, I'm not really going to follow this list. I tend to tut disapprovingly at most IGN articles I end up reading. However I would expect Morrowind to be pretty high up that list, in at least the top 10. Sadly I have not played as many RPG's as I would have liked too so not really an expert in this field

Knowing what IGN are like, i'm going to predict the following as far as TES is concerned:

Skyrim - top 5
Oblivion - top 15
Morrowind - top 30
Daggerfall - not on the list
Arena - not on the list

Morrowind and Daggerfall are the only two that deserve to be in the top 10. Skyrim arguably shouldn't even make the top 100, but at the very least should be outside the top 50.

EDIT: the banner that has the "Top 100 RPG's of all time" at the top has S.P.E.C.I.A.L on system on it :disguise:

The Mario games listed aren't the normal platformers. They're more like (fairly gimmicky) JRPGs.

Not to my knowledge. Although I guess any game is an RPG if you put your mind to it.

My guess is that number one slot goes to either Final Fantasy 7, Ocarina of Time or Kingdom Hearts.

Of course i personally think thats ridiculous, but with IGN theres a pretty good chance.

I can guarantee Super Mario RPG will make the list too, but thats ok because that one definitely deserves to be in this lineup.

I still would've placed FO:NV and FFIX MUCH higher though.

It's a great game,but I think the Original Witcher is better,they are both top 20 for me.It's number 78 on that list,what a farce.
