IGN Top 100 RPG's of all time.

No doubt Skyrim will get #1 for it's "INNOVEYSHUN" and "IMMERSHUN".
Or maybe because not only is it the greatest RPG of all time, it's simply the most brilliant game of all time.

I agree. Every game tries to replicate what Skyrim does and fails. Look at Black Ops 2, it practically rips off Skyrim.

That's Dungeon Keeper. Dungeon Master is an old first-person dungeon crawling RPG.
Ah, I see.

Except a lot of those are considered legendary to us in this industry. Sorry you don't like that particular genre.

I'm both amazed and glad that Eve Online is even on there. I figure IGN would just ignore the great player-created world it has but it's good to see that it's at least up there.

It's a shame you feel that way. Being open-minded really is a great way of finding hidden gems in that so-called pile of turds.

I was open minded and played a few and didn't like them, but I must be close minded to dare not have the same opinion of you.

I just don't like the genre. If you hate horror films are you really going to like even the best ones or the hidden gems? If you don't like Blues are you going to like Robert Johnson because he had some gems?

Funny thing is the jokes on you because I couldn't be more serious. You make it sound like i'm the only person in the world who's favorite game is Skyrim.

I meant in general. You reply with "skyrim" or "bethesda" in any game related topic.

With one game per page for maximum ad revenue.

I'll stick to the list in the first post. Not worth it.

Not liking something isn't the same as calling something crap. Not that I care what anyone calls anything, by all means go ahead. But if you're using the point you mentioned as justification, that's not going to work, sorry.

It was a joke for goodness sake, I didn't call the genre crap I used the anology of being able to make the assumption that crap tastes bad without eating a lot of it.

It was some toilet humour, and because of the pedants on this forum I wasn't going to say brussel sprouts and risk some smarmy person saying "I like bruseel sprouts, that anology isn't going to work. Sorry".

Instead you found people who say "I like crap, that anology isn't going to work, sorry."

No respite from pedantry on BGSF. :P
