How would it get there? The banana is tropical. This is a temperate zone!
The swallow may fly south with the sun or the house martin or the plover may seek warmer climes in winter, yet these are not strangers to our land?

(Sorry, couldn't resist!)

I've got one big question:

In Oblivion when you became the guild master, you'd get pretty mundane jobs to do. IE The Listener of the Dark Brotherhood got to be a basic message errand boy, the fighter's guild master got to pick up some gold every once in awhile...etc.

Todd or Bethesda mentioned that Skryim will have a better set up for guild masters ie more stuff to do or be in charge of.

My question to you is this:
Without giving too much away (since I do like a surprise), is being a guildmaster in Skyrim much, much better than it was in Oblivion?

any of you guys know what you use the dragon souls for when you have unlocked and maxed every shout? do you increase hp, mp and stam with them? :toughninja:
Interesting Idea...maybe we can put them in soul gems for enchanting or something?

Would you say the game has more of a Morrowind feel, Oblivion feel or a good mix of both?

Morrowind feel again is my guess.

Morrowind: Every dungeon felt unique and could have a unique treasure. The cultural feel was breathtaking. Everything was just perfect.
Oblivion: Level scaling KILLED any sense of achievement, generic boring world, generic dungeons, generic characters, bland, impersonal, dull... i could go on.

I think Bethesda has learned alot from Oblivion and wont repeat the same mistakes. Skyrim has that cultural feel again, unique dungeons, a challenge, reduced level scaling, incredible voice acting, revamped skill/ability system , added perks (Great choice imo).

Do you know if quest rewards are leveled like in Oblivion?
Actually I don't know yet, haven't noticed. But I will check up on it and answer a little later when I get back home.

What about ghosts? Could someone who's played the game tell me about the look of GHOSTS in Skyrim? I was disappointed in them in Oblivion and wanted to know if they looked creepier this time. Really appreciate it.
I met one ghost so far, he was kind of blue-transparent. Better looking than in Oblivion, but not really creepy. And I killed him with my steel sword!

Could you describe how the Ward spells from restoration work?
Thanks
Ward Spell makes a shield that blocks magic, and I think it also raises your armour

Thanks for the info. Was this a floaty ghost? Or simply a walking transparent character. Really appreciate the time you're taking away from this amazing game to help us out.

I would say they are not too common, but I've had a few. For me it has been good. And different each time. One time I was walking alone in the middle of nowhere in the night, and got attacked by a dragon. Another time a dragon attacked in a city during day. I kinda like the dragons.

- Another thing I would like to add is about the 3rd person finish-moves.. I play as a melee character and for me they happen too often. Got annoyed by them already, because its almost always the same you ones you see, and sometimes the camera angle gets a little clunky..

EDIT:

Can someone tell me all about becoming a Thane? How do you become one? What benefits are there aside from the more lenient guards (disposition increase only?). No servants? No castle/mansion?

Do you get any unique reward, like a special dragonshout after killing/defeating Alduin?

Once you finish the DB questline, can you get assassination's contracts? That's one of my main interests in this game :/

And are there any on-going quests/duties/micro-managing things to do as Thane? Is it just a useless title?

Odd. Seems like maybe there aren't actual ghosts this time out? As in floating spirit. Kinda disappointing, but there is plenty of other stuff to keep me busy.

You only get dragon shouts from runes in stone walls hidden all over skyrim.

You unlock the shouts with dragon souls.

You do quest in whiterun to become thane and you dont get a special sword. you can get the reward weapon earlier if you fight stuff.

If there are 2 paths on a perk tree that lead to a specific perk, are BOTH paths needed to get that perk, or just one? Ie twin souls from Conjuration tree
