Layout of perk trees

Yeah.. Even though I prefer Persuasion I think it would have been better if Bribery split off into two paths.
Exactly. Get bribery then pick persuasion or intimidation... no need for both, imo.

Hmmm... poisons last for twice as many "hits" when applied to a weapon? .... Do hits=seconds or do hits=attacks?

No, no; Allure is just a bonus. If you pick up Haggler you'll still get the buy, and sell bonuses from the opposite six. I think Allure is just in addition to that, so its only really useful if you're planing on maxing Haggler.
But, you need Allure before you can actually open up trading options, unless making it a prerequisite for the Inventory-opening (Merchant and Fence) and Investment perks are a mistake.

Also I agree; the Light Armor tree is kind of trash.
It would have been a lot better if they'd just ditched the restriction on "Full Light Armor Suits"

Nice sig Hotsauce, mine would be

Blodhgarm. Imperial. 20. Allegiance to the Empire. One Handed. Heavy Armour. Archery. Destruction. Restoration. Smithing.

These perks are actually very exciting, the game was losing some of its gloss for me, but now, its got it all back. :tes: :celebration:

Disappointed in the Conjuration tree.

I just want to focus on undead spirits and reanimation. I don't want to have to perk my atronaches to get 2 reanimated zombies :(

... You don't have to. They are two branches to the same destination, only one is required... hopefully.

Where did you hear this? Because I'm fairly certain that this isn't true. Allure is just a bonus kind of like the black widow perk, or lady killer; well.. Maybe those might not be good examples, since they were the "I win" buttons for persuasion, but I believe the principles still apply.

You are correct.

You can take the other path you know... The one that is all about Necromancy...

I know people should never comment on bad game design, they should just accept it.

Commenting on bad game design is one thing, [censored]ing because they don't want a helmet 'ruining' the appearance of their character is another. Vanity comes with a price after all.

Why even have separate one handed and two handed skills if you are going to make the perk trees almost identical? Yeesh you would think they could have come up with some different perks for the 2 skills outside of 1 power attack and the 2 dual wielding perks.

Thank you op, you finally helped me plan a build, I'm so glad I can do this ahead of time before its too late, I got all the skills I wanted and then some :D

I hope after the game is release we will see some planners on the web like there are for games like WoW.

Rules screwing someone because they like to customize their appearance is bad game design. Not having armor on your head is a big enough penalty in itself, creating a rule to double screw them is just crap design. It has nothing to do with balance, just designers wanting to force their aesthetics on the players.

Well, when I looked at the perk tree posted, it put Allure as the first perk on the "Merchant" branch... hopefully it's just an offshoot mistaken-for-prereq.

People are whining because some perks require the full set of armor?
The complaints are about having to wear a full suit of Light armor - Unless Light Armor is defined as "Anything that isn't Heavy Armor" (Robes, clothes, empty item slots, etc.) for the purpose of those perks, we are more encumbered and tire easier in our birthday suits than a full suit of Glass or Hardened Leather Armor.

Oh so that's what you meant, I got it. Though the "Merchant" perk means you can sell anything to anyone for example to can sell armor to a potion merchant, or books to a jeweler.
