Not as impressive as the heavy armor perks, but hopefully this isn't all of them.

Oh? Hm. Pretty good overall. I guess I was hoping for something that increased base speed.

Thank you for finally posting them. Now we just need all the lockpicking perks.

well it sort of does.. It says it doesn't impair movement speed. Not quite the same as making you faster but if that was the case then running around naked would be more effective at increasing your speed. When you think about it you can't really increase your base running speed.. that is why it's called your base running speed. Anything after that would slow you down. I still think it is going to have some amazing purposes.

It really comes down to whether you've got the HP reserves of a warrior class that gets in close to attack; with that Heavy Armor is the only way to go and it can make you very indestructible. This is for people who bet on Magicka and Stamina.

Thanks for this, appreciated

Where did you get these from? Any idea what the final Destruction, alteration and restoration are? Not convinced the ones we've seen are the full list.

Heavy armor appears to be the way to go seeing as it has bonus gauntlet damage, fall damage resistance, stagger resistance, reflect damage while light armor only gives you stamina regeneration bonus.

I am starting to wonder if my stealth mage should use mage robes and whatnot instead of light armor. Then I can forfeit the somewhat lame light armor perks and introduce a whole new skill to replace.

That's exactly the thought process I went through, and decided I'd go for robes

The extra perks could be spent maxing out something else

If you want to completely forego armor then sure.

There's nothing lame about them. They're as functional as they need to be.

So lame the perks of light armour.

Seriously man....its light armour, im not wearing it coz i want it to be heavier =S

If these perks are legit...then wearing light armour isnt a viable option for stealth builds.

There's a perk that makes it weigh literally nothing and not slow you down at all. There's another perk that removes half the stamina regen penalty for wearing it. You even get a perk at the top that gives you a 10% chance to ignore damage entirely.

The real reason to not wear armor if you're a mage is because armor of any type impedes your magicka regeneration. Heavy more than light, but light still impedes it.

If i wear no armour, i dont get slowed down & i have a un penalized stamina regen rate straight from the start for free.

If i chose to wear light armour id have to waste many perks to reach normal movement and still only recover half of my normal regen rate. Plus levelling this skill will increase the rate of my overall level, which means neglecting a more useful skill.

Seeing as how im playing stealthy, i dont see the need to have a 10% chance of avoiding damage as i shouldnt be getting wailed on in the first place.

Well there you go, more practical reasons to eschew armor. Go ahead and do that then. Plus it's not like light armor making you heavier and noisier than wearing nothing is something new to the series.

Dam forgot about noise from armour, would have to waste another perk to only get half of that noise reduced....yeah light armour isnt good at all for the shadows...

Thank you for the perks!

As things stand now, heavy armor seems clearly better for warriors and robes/clothes seem better for mages and assassins.

By the way, wouldn't you happen to know the full list of alteration perks right?

4 perks in light give (if full suit)
- 45% bonus to armor
- no penalty
- 50% stamina regen boost

4 perks in heavy give (if full suit)
- 20% bonus to armor
- half fall dmg
- h2h bonus
- no penalty

So if the "no penalty" removes the penalty for sneaking or if there is a sneak perk that does that, heavy triumphs..
I guess only dw will go light for added stamina..

I was kinda hoping light perks would include robes and clothes as well..
Instead of "if light armor" they would be "while wearing light or no armor"

So if I don't like to wear a stupid helmet I won't have a 25% bonus, I won't have a 10% probability of dodging attacks and my stamina won't regenerate faster? What kind of joke is this??? hello heavy armor.
