Lizard Lovers Unite!

How do Argoninans even survive in Skyrim?

If they are fully lizards with cold blood, and they come from a warm marsh like home land, wouldn't they drop dead from the constant freezing cold?

I mean yes the sun shines in Skyrim, but it can't be enough to heat up a huge lizard body every day.

I like to think they are warm blooded.

Think of it this way, they aren't humanoid lizards, they are lizardoid humans? lol

*edit* Plus the hist grants them adaptative abilities. Which is why you see Argonians with feathers in skyrim to help keep the heat in.

They did use to call the other races "warmbloods" in Morrowind.

But yeah, the hist probably changes them to what is most fit.

I was reading about Hist actually, and the lore says that Argonians have been known to make armor plates from Hist resin. I wonder how such armor would stack up against more conventional materials.

If added to the game, it should add a hallucinogenic effect to any non-Argonian who wears it.

You're right, since even Tiber Septim himself, the greatest conqueror in all of Tamriel, failed to invade Black Marsh.

Yet still, Morrowind fell to those same lizards equipped in magical tree sap

Tiber Septim only failed because of the terrain.

And, once again..Vvardenfel had recently blown up. So the Dunmer weren't exactly in fighting condition. <_<

I think Twisted Black needs more Dunmner support. This isn't really a fair fight, so I'll stay out of it ATM. lolz.

Fun fact, argonians enslaved themselves at one point in history.

That's true...

But Dunmers did that , too <_<

Remember when you sold that female Dunmer to the Ashkhan in Morrowind?

Far as I'm concerned, this is a lesson for us Dunnmer. We need to leave the slums and cities of the Nords, they barely tolerate us as it is, we need to go back home....

Rebuild, re-arm, and take a page from the Aldmeri Dominion.

They even starred in http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/classic/episodeguide/seadevils/ back in the 1970s - how cool is that?

I'm assuming he meant the Argonians. Not so much everyone.

By the way, the Altmer don't have [censored] on Telvanni.

Ok well yes...I don't think we'd want to do that. More like the prospect of kicking huge amounts of non-mer butt.

Besides there are 'other' ways of increasing the population without killing tonnes of people. According to the 'lore' (I can't remember the name but a book in Obivion explains it ) any child born will look like the mother regardless of the fathers race.

Sooooo...we open some brothels, and be really really nice to all the humans and other mer for a while (remember the Barenziah bios, men find our women hard to resist). Give a septum incentive to our ladies, and there you go, lots and lots of little Dunnmer running around.

That marsh would be ours in no time.

Brand-Shei is NOT the last member of house Telvanni. The family, yes. The house, no.

Another +1 for the Argonian love!!

May I ask, when you obtain your werewolf powers, does anyone else other than I like to imagine you being a werelizard instead of a werewolf? I wish Bethesda went a little further than what they have (in Skyrim at least) and had the non-human races altered a little when in said form.

I'm not one for taking in everything when it comes to the lore with these games, so I don't know if it would be possible.
