Cute, they seem to assume I'm going to keep buying their games after ME3.

I was lucky, Gamestop & Best Buy didn't have in store orders, but I was still able to pre-order online on Wednesday.

Hmm, wasn't expecting that. There was an interview a ways back and I swear Casey (I think) said something about how since they didn't have to worry about importing a ME3 save to another game, it was easier to develop. Doesn't matter I guess, I don't usually delete game saves anyway.

No, they said they didn't have to worry about carrying Shepard's decisions into another game. It is probably something like bonus items, or carrying over your items, or something of that nature.

Aren't you going to get banned for doing that?

Why? It just stops it from scanning folders. It otherwise works as normal and connects to the internet.

One of the achievements, not a spoiler -

Veteran-Kill 5000 enemies-25g

I'm hopeful the multiplayer shares the kills between everyone, even still, that is going to be a lengthy trek.

How did you get Origin sandboxed so it doesnt scan folders? I want to get ME3, but if it means I have to install Origin, I'd rather go buy a bloody 360 and play it on that instead.

Google is your friend. It took some time because you have to manually edit in what folders you don't want it to scan. Just google away.

Just found some stuff to do it. I'd never even heard of Sandboxie before. Cheers Gamgee :)

Well out of all the me2 loyalty quests I think Jacobs was the most entertaining... And grunt/tali had the easyest

Jacob's was boring as hell. My favourite was Mordin's, Zaeed's, and Grunt's. Easiest had to be Miranda's and Samara's.

The new trailers are not exactly encouraging. The armor in the customization trailer is 90% ports from Mass Effect 2 (they didn't even bother to remove the Cerberus logo on the assault armor).
The interactive story telling trailer is cringe inducing:

Why not? It's only been a few months in game time since ME2. I do know there was a partial leaked list. I know for a fact every weapon group gets minimum 3 new guns, and some are 4-5 or more. They've been trying ot keep it fairly spoiler free. Why would armors be any different? We know at least one new one is available form preordering at gamestop/ebgames.

I do agree it was a pretty bad example, but I imagine they don't want to give anything major away. They've been unusually tight lipped on this one. Last year the amount of news we had before ME2 launch was simply staggering. The amount of info on ME3 we have no was like the stuff we had on ME2 like 4+ months from release. And we got more and more and more right up until release. I kind of like they're keeping a lot hidden. Not to mention if you bought that dlc it's a bonus that it carries over. It means the dlc was twice the value than they expected. Always a bonus.

I know, I've looked. So don't post them, message people if they ask for them. Or put them in spoilers and let people know. With the game this close to launch it's really time to buckle down on any spoilers.

Edit
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juXHWJx1mHc just in, a really badly done live aciton commercial. Damn, that's not all that good.

Edit
And it just got taken down, that was quick.

Edit
If anyone is interested I have a link where you can view it. Or at least obtain for viewing.

Has anyone seen or played the demo? I'm disappointed by the graphics as they look worse than ME2.

The iOS crossover stuff just makes me

Why can't the iOS games be standalone spin off games instead of affecting the main game with exclusive items and galactic readyness and what else? They're really milking this last game for all it has.

The game to me isn't about getting cool weapons or armor so missing out on those DLCs and exclusive items is not something I really care about(they tend to be overpowered anyway), so even though I very much disapprove of this stuff it won't affect my main experience. As long as they don't start cutting out significant amounts of mission content.

As long as it's still a decent action game with dialogue choices when you shove aside all the crappy DLC I can still enjoy it. I do want to finish this trilogy. After that I don't see myself buying any Bioware games for quite some time though.

Choices look more limited as during the length of the demo I saw no dialogue tree with more than two options. I didn't see any options for Paragon or Renegade but that's probably due to it being the demo.
