You're missing the point. Whether or not Tabitha was male or female before being turned into a supermutant, the very idea of it got a bunch of people up in arms about the implications. The point is, "don't go looking for malice and bigotry where there is none." Sometimes things just turn out in certain ways and it doesn't mean that anyone was being prejudiced or insulting. It's a game. Trying to imply that making the only non-caucasian companions non-humans was done on purpose by a person that is a racist is just absolutely ridiculous.
I don't care that they are mostly white (I'm half white) and that Raul and lily are African and Mexican. I just would like one black human or another race mutant i don't care. Just disappointed because I think 200 years after the war there would be a lot more mixed people you know.
How do we know there aren't? I personally can't tell someone's racial make-up by looking at them...not completely, anyway. Besides, I usually don't spend much time trying to figure out how white someone is when I meet them. Does it really matter?
