It is, but for a good reason. Mafia II has a good story but it absolutely pales in comparison to its predecessor, such an amazing game.

Metro 2033 definitely deserves more credit than it gets. It's a beautiful shooter with a great storyline yet hardly anyone has played it.

There aren't many games I consider over-rated. I guess it annoys me that Assassin's Creed continues to be so well recieved despite how much it just rehashes the same ideas now (AC2 is one of my favourite games ever, but I thought Brotherhood and Revelations were totally unnecessary).

I may be strung to a pole and beaten but I have to say that one game I did not enjoy despite being raved about, The Witcher. Maybe it starts too slow but I barely made it past the 5 hour mark. Something about all that walking and knowing nothing is going to attack you annoys me.

Overrated: all sports games, Uncharted, Gears of War, Skyrim, nearly all popular shooter franchises (Call of Duty, Halo, etc.), BioShock, and the list goes on

Underrated: Fallout: New Vegas (big-time underrated), Deus Ex: Human Revolution (barely got much mention, it seems), Dragon Quest VIII, Final Fantasy XII (yes, 12, not 13... hated 13), and the list goes on here, too

UR: Yoshi's Island (Not the GBA bull crap)

excellent game! what was wrong with the gba version? only difference i noticed was that yoshi had that extremely irratating audio that sounds like hes straining his bowels.

since we are on cartoon-like games now... kirbys fun pack! what a game!

Oh! Luigi's Mansion must be one of the best Mario Brother games ever. It just feels like the GameCube didn't get enough love to give it's games proper recognition.

i have played tons of games, i never stop! i have experienced so many so my opinion is more valid. but we shall end it since you cannot see that as a game, it is bad.

I don't know how many games you have played and you don't know how many I've played so in this forum all opinions are equal. Now stop putting your opinions as fact because an opinion never is.

deus ex system shock 2 arx fatalis fallout new vegas vampire the masquerade bloodlines, to name a few. besides mass effect is not even that fun. intelligent, yes. to you it may be fun but i have played the best so i know what im missing. and im not being ignorant dont take it that way, i completed both mass effect 1 & 2. but i am not going to bother with 3 unless its a huge improvement.

No. I haven't played any of the other games you listed, but if they are are like New Vegas... no. Even with the introduction of iron sights, the combat in fallout is pitiful. Slam stims, shoot stuff while backpedaling.

Over rated: Portal 2 combustable lemons ooh you can talk loud you're funny.
Under rated: Monster Hunter. Pretty much every monster hunter, atleast in our western world.

and the combat is better in ME? no way. and the combat is whatever you want it to be in NV- stealth, vats, melee, pick em off from a distance with even a pistol, set up traps and so on. you never once have to backpeddle, not even for deathclaws, the 50.calibre rifle takes care of that. only czadors you will most likely have to. and on hardcoe mode you cant "slam stims"
