Underrated: Fallout NV. It was everything Fallout 3 should have been mechanics-wise, but the media gave it flak for being a Fallout 3 clone. Even though I enjoyed Fallout 3 more as a sandbox game, I felt people were unfair to NV.
Mercenaries on PS2: great fun in a massive destructible free roaming warzone, but it seems like I was the only one who played it.
Overrated: Dragon Age Origins. It just bored me. kill, move kill, repeat ad infinitum.
I thought people just hated the bugs ? NV was underrated then, it was superior to fallout 3 in almost every way. More impressive becuase it had less time, and had to use bethesdas horrible engine.
I liked DAO. Not sure why, but yes it gets too much praie. I like it, but nits hardly the greatest thing in modern gaming, that some mke it out to be.
Overrated: FO:NV
Underrated: Brink
Explain FNV for me. Until all dlcs let me be lvl 50 I wasnt a god like fallout 3, the world was less stupid "oh lets scavenge, even after 200 years, screw farming", gameplay was worse, the only thing it did better was the open world.
Brink was a broken game. Poor AI, short SP and serious issues with online.
disappointing it didn't get enough love to warrant a sequel.
Oh no its not. Bioware has a habiy of taking what people liked in the first game, removing it, then making it more actiony, then letting david silverman try and convince you its a good game.
