I know it's popular over there, that doesn't count though. It needs to be appreciated here more. Been so long since we've gotten a game.

From posts I have seen you make, seems more of an accurate if its about you. You had another go at a guy in the south prak thread, he sid he didnt like it, made like 3 posts and you accuse him of waiting in the thread to [censored]. Im suprised you have been on the forums for so long without being banned. You seem to have an issue with differing oppinions.

all the backgrounds ect had to move across the screen. the enemy sprites did not, so thats why they look better than the background. it was the same for anything at the time, if they wanted something to have "good graphics" it had to not move.
i suppose you judge golden sun for inconsistent graphics too huh? damn graphics wh0re. loads of games suffer from inconsistent graphics. its not about graphics.

if your moaning about the size difference of the two parties, it doesnt matter. thats the style they went for because they wanted "good graphics" in thier game, then so be it. i suppose if there is a girl coming on to you and she is not 10/10 perfect in every way you'd turn her down?

I PERSONALLY didn't find the aesthetics appealing. I've played many 8-bit and 16-bit games in my life and I'm amazed of what the developers were able to do with such limited resources.
I have no problem with developers trying to create a unique style for their game. They can do whatever they want with their game but they can't force everyone to like it.

Notice how I didn't complain about the story, the characters or the music because I actually liked those parts. I just didn't find them as good as people said they were.
This is MY opinion!

And no, I do not judge people by their appearance in real life.

Overrated: Call of Duty (except the first ones[1,2,3 and spin offs] and World at war), BF3 and BFBC2, Skyrim, Assassin's Creed, Minecraft, Starcraft II, World of Warcraft, Star wars the old republic, Half Life, Counter Strike, Mario, Zelda, Terraria, Uncharted 2 and 3 (single player only), Halo, Gears of War and Mass Effect.

Underrated: Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, Day of Defeat: Source, Resistance 3, MAG, Uncharted 2 and 3 (Multiplayer only), Alan Wake, Diablo (the first one).

most Bethesda games (I like Bethesda games, but I like games with a hefty story more, and Bethesda games do not offer that), most Final Fantasies, the Half-Life series, Portal 2... There's more to this list, but I stop here.

Over-Rated: CoD franchise, BF3, Madden, Skyrim(I'm on PS3 so that lead to being over-rated)

Under-Rated: Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway, loved that game. Can't think of any others.

I'd say that all of the Brothers in Arms games are underrated.

Underated: Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven, Brutal Legend, Syphon Filter. Syphon Filter was preparing to be shipped off when Metal Gear Solid hit the shelves. The developers were screwed. Pokemon (third gen)

I was not as big fan of Pokemon when the 4th generation came out, but gave it a shot and I liked it. It was strange seeing all the hate for it.

I don't think System Shock 2 is underrated, it was hailed during its time and still receives a good bit of praise from the survival-horror crowd. Not to mention that SHODAN was an obvious inspiration for GLaDOS.

Underrated:

Battlefield - Far superior to COD, yet not as popular for some reason.
FFXIII - It's got a pretty cool story and setting too, but noooo "We want Sephiroth PloX :3"
Deus Ex - I never hear anyone talk about this series. It's so good!

you have deus ex and FF13 in the same category? your mad. if anything FF13 is overrated! that game is absolute trash compared to the old ones. in fact its just trash in general. deus ex isnt underrated it is hailed as the greatest pc game of all time, just the console crowd dont know about it, which makes up a large portion of the gaming population.
and battlefield is not superior to cod. the gameplay its a matter of opinion, but cod has way more replayability with many perks, challenges, hidden challenges, theatre mode, accolades, prestige shop and so on. if battlefield had these id consider accepting it is superior. and singleplayer of the two games is just terrible so nevermind that.

PC gamers were so happy to have them as exclusives it doesn't matter that some of the complaints that go for other games are in the TW2.

TW2 is going to console and PC gamers were basically beta testers. This is a fact since they have patched it to hell and back to make it fun and work.

The Witcher 2....most overrated game in a long time. Definately in 2011.

Underrated is Red Faction Guerilla or Rallisport Challenge 2 for xbox.
