I like CoD but I do feel it is very overrated. Same with Skyrim.

Underrated: Space Pirates and Zombies

I see the most overrated game and developer everyday. I'll leave it at that.

The most underrated is probably Vagrant Story.

Overrated: Two Worlds II
I only bought the first one which I proudly returned post-haste. I didn't get the second one based on how bad the first one felt, but I found out South Peak was doing some questionable business practices to up the rating and lower the criticism of their game. It didn't sit well with me.

Underrated: Blazblue
It is one of my all time favorite 2D fighting games. A shame it's overshadowed by Street Fighter IV and UMvsC3. I love the 2D sprite against a 3D background. It has crazy over the top anime finishing moves that are so satisfying to pull off. And best of all, no clone characters.

Two-Worlds Two sold well? I played it but it was a game that was "almost there" in far too many places. I even beat it. God one of the worst endings...you sure it belongs as overrated?

Over rated- Mass effect 2, Half life 2, Oblivion.

Under rated- Medievil: Ressurection, Motorstorm, Spore.

That's how everyone decides if a game is under or over rated. Every single person.

Nope. The only game I listed as overrated that I don't really like is Bioshock.

I like Skyrim. I like Morrowind and Oblivion(to some extent). But goooooooooooood lord the TES series is overrated to the max.

How could I forget about Half life. I may aswell just say valve. They are completely overrated. Every game they hve made.

Overrated: CoD, Battlefield and GTA.

Underrated: All the new Sonic games (especially Shadow The Hedgehog) and Half-Life (in terms of my friends, but then again I could say a lot more games if that were the case).

Portal is awesome though

(well they are not underrated just not many people have played since they are mostly pc only, people who have played believe them to be greatest games of all time)

Overrated? Lets see... Gears of War franchise, God of War franchise, Assassins Creed franchise, Gran Turismo franchise, Grand Theft Auto franchise, and lets not forget the Half-Life franchise... ugh... and needless to say is of course the Call of Duty franchise.

As for underrated crap, there's Far Cry 2, the TimeSplitters franchise (which might be rebooted), Metro 2033 and... can't think of anything more really.

Over-Rated: Assassins Creed, how did a fairly interesting premise for a game which even gave itself an in-game reason to literally explore any historical time-period ever become the [censored] atrocious waste of time and money that it is now?

Oh and Far Cry 2, [censored] that game. Boring and quite possibly the most horrific ending I've ever endured.

Under-Rated: I don't know, I've always felt that Call of Duty as a franchise doesn't get enough attention but that's just me.

Seriously though BioShock, I don't personally measure over-ratedness by the opinions of "journalists" but rather public reaction and hype; I've never known anyone else like it as a game other than me - one of my favourites of all time.

Overrated- Morrowind, Mass Effect 2, Saints Row The Third (Still a good game but more of an 8 gaming score instead of it's 8.5-9.5 it's been getting) and any Call of Duty game.

Underrated- Sacred 2 Fallen Angel, Fallout New Vegas.

well then you seriously need to play system shock 2, bioshocks predecessor. it is 10x better than bioshock. once you have completed that play deus ex 1.

deus ex1 and system shock 2 are the greatest games of all time. bioshock is good, but [censored] in comparison to these 2 games.
