Nice to see all platform users will be united finding out that resistance is indeed futile.

I had to laugh.

While I can't say anything about the resistances thing, I can say that all of my saves are fine, and I just had a fight with a random dragon and it went just as smoothly as ever before. :)

Now I hate Steam. I really mean it.

I disabled automatic updates for Skyrim, and for some ......................... reason, it has enabled them again automatically. I closed it and disabled again, and now I have a half-updated game to fix.

Seriously....Bethesda releasing bad patches, and Steam forcing to download them....just seriously...

The PC patch totally broke the y-axis of the mouse. The sensitivity is screwed up. It can barely move.

Did the patch break the mouse controls for anyone else? The game is completely unplayable now.

Uhm, it didn't appear that Steam DL'ed anything, but it may have, but now I can't even launch the game...

If you play a game you set to "disable updates" while in Online mode, Steam re-enables it. Annoying...

The solution is to go Offline mode. That way, it won't re-enable auto updates.

Darn...
Too
Late.

How screwed am I?

I say some Stalinism is in order: Shoot down the Quality Control people at Bethesda Game Studios before a fireing squad.
And bring in the lovely Erica Stead from ID. ( http://www.bethblog.com/index.php/page/10/ )
Surely someone this good looking can do a good looking job.

Well, I've re-activated the update and now it's finishing downloading. Luckily I have just backed up my saves, in case something goes wrong (the worst situation would be to wait for a re-patch).

Patch just finished downloading, let's see how it goes...

That happened here as well. It downloaded about 11 MB before it finally obeyed and stopped.
Does that mean these patches get applied immediately while downloading? This can't be seriously possible. <_<

Completely forgot I unchecked "Run Steam at startup." So stupid question, its not going to update unless Steam is actually running right?

How about messing with the Look Sensitivity in the options? It was a little wonky at first for me, but I just readjusted that setting and it's just like normal for me.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm still having fun playing a fun game.

Okay, so not sure if this is due to the update or not but... Now when I press Play on the Launcher is asks if I wish for this Program to make changes to my PC (this only happened once at first time load up) I press OK, the launcher disapears then comes back, nothing happens..

Anyone?

How lame is this, I can't even start the game while steam is in offline mode!

Looks like I must use this fail patch.
