How long before Microsoft pay Bethedsa for complete exclusivity? At this rate i can see it happening in the near future.

XD with the wording of that response its not too out there to think that, though I highly doubt that would happen

See here is the thing I have money I want to give bethesda my money but since release is taking so long since we already have been waiting for a month I may use this money to instead buy borderlands 2 or darksiders 2.

The longer bethesda waits the more people will lose interest.

seriously the more I read that response the more I question whether or not the DLC even exists yet for PC or PS3

I dont mind waiting a bit more but that wait must be worth it...oh i dont expect to get simply "Dawnguard" i want something revolutionary for gamesas , like a non-rigid environment patch and a free plug-in for mods that add cloaks or something like that. I want gamesas tell us "We're sorry for this inconvenience but we'll make it up to you"

At this time, we do not have announced release plans for Dawnguard on other platforms. As soon as there's any new information to share, we'll let everyone know.

Here's the best response " We would like to announce that we have finally become a smarter company and have decided that we will not put out exclusive periods on certain platforms. Also to clear this mess up we will release Dawnguard later today. We will also stop being complete idiots and support people on consoles other than just Xbox" That is a good response. What you gave us made it worse. Why can't you give us info now. You have the DLC created give it to us or we may have to Boycott you.

Colour me shocked, I knew we would get some bs generic "Nothing to share at this time" message.

Thanks for turning me against this series, I really enjoyed elder scrolls and from a business point of view I guess you guys are making good money, but as a consumer I can't be bothered with it anymore, I actually own a 360 but bought Skyrim on my PS3, what a mistake that was.

There's other games I'd rather waste my time and money on lol.

Heh, All the 360 versions were sold out. I knew I should've waited.

Quel surprise. 30 days later and still no word. It's Beth's complete and utter alienation of their fan-base on any other platform than the 360 that has ensured that I have never, and will never buy a piece of DLC from them.
Shivering Isles - Pre-owned GOTY.
Fallout 3 - Borrowed GOTY.
Fallout NV - Didn't even touch DLC.

And now this crap!? Seriously, just how much bare-faced bribery are MS fronting? Surely it would be better business practice to release it as universally multi-platform and reap the money from day one, than give roughly 2/3 of your market a month to stew, become disenfranchised, and eventually lose all interest.
At first I was completely stoked for DG, it hit all my buttons perfectly. But the caving to MS's fat check and continued silence has just left a bad taste in my mouth. Couple that up with the amount of time the content has had to lose all steam and hype and I really just don't care anymore. I want to see it released on principle, but will I actually give Bethesda money for screwing us about? Hell [censored]in' no.
You mean: Shivering Isles - Pre-owned BOTY (BUG/S OF THE YEAR).

I don't understand why is so hard to post atleast something that would explain delay of PC/PS3 version of Dawnguard.Wile PS3 users must take a hint from twit, PC users are still in the dark...Srsly PC users are largest gaming community and this lack of respect is just frustrating! We waited one month for damn 30 days exclusive to end and we are still left in a dark! Anounce it, or release it alrdy! This lack of proffesionalism should not be present in company with reputation that Bethesda has!

Honestly not entirely surprising, but it's incredibly disappointing. This whole affair has really lowered my respect for Bethesda as a company quite a bit. And I mean the complete lack of communication(with the exception of one snarky comment from Pete's twitter around the 360 release), even after 30 days, not the deal itself.

My guess is we'll hear a release date-if we're lucky-sometime within the next week, with a release date about 3-4 weeks from now. By which time I won't be buying this and will be occupied with getting hyped for GW2's release. Ok, I MIGHT buy it at Christmas, but honestly there are too many other games I'm looking forward to that will take precedence over a 6 month old buggy DLC. And I'd take a wild guess that the next DLC will be out around December, and not come out till February ala Dead Money.

Lols I am more than pissed. I have played TES since Arena and dealt with Bethesda crap for a while, but this. Oblivion had so much to do so it was easy to wait for. I've played the hell outta Skyrim and there's practically nothing.

The amount of money microsoft gave bethesda may have been enough where bethesda don't really mind losing PS3 and PC sales because of the wait these players have to endure.

same here I expected this and am disappointed that I was right, its a shame to see the company that had me running to the stores since Morrowind end up like this.

I'd just like to point out how many people are looking at this thread. I find it funny, 150 (ish) people... hah.

Ah well. Maybe we'll hear something a little later.

Great....same BS we heard in the PS3 Forums....different wording. If you have nothing to share then don't share it.

Highly unlikely. They waited until the 30 day vow of silence is over in order to say "We won't say anything".

Oh I fully expect that. I think I mentioned that in one of the previous threads.

The 30 day exclusive thing doesn't bother me too much(if it had been an actual 30-day exclusive), but what does bother me is the fact that MS has enough money to throw around that people can't effectively vote with their wallets. It's an extremely anti-competitive business practice.

This is not the answer I want to hear after waiting out the 30 day xbox exclusive time period.

In all likelihood the exclusivity period didnt start until the non english version's of the DLC were released, which if I remember means that the exclusivity period would end August 10th?

I know, but i wanted to say something fairly topic related while saying "look at all the people here"
