to anyone that wants honest answers from BGS im srry u prolly wont get it IDK who told them not to communicate but that is the wrong move, most devs atleast will try to save face but BGS just sits there. BGS should instead see that we are intelligent human beings and we can understand their current situation(if situation is honest and not in MS pockets to prolong the release) but it just seems that they are too afraid to answer our questions, it only symbolises their guilt. so because we the fans got nothing else to go on but facts and facts tell us something else is going on so until BGS answer our questions about what happened I will not be buying DG or anything from them I will not tolerate a lying dev company

Because once again, BGS gave F:NV the shaft to PS3 when it came to patches for that game. In my opinion, it's obvious BGS wants nothing to do with PS3 and so SONY should just cut their dealings.

Stop derailing the discussion to irrelevant auto industry issues.
The discussion is about gaming>Bethesda>Elder Scrolls>Skyrim>Dawnguard.
The main problem is Bethesda's inability or unwillingness to communicate with the fans/customers.
The second problem is customer discrimination.

The anology is perfectly valid. There IS no issue. Bethesda has no obligation to communicate with you, or anyone here, whatsoever. Read that again. They have 0 obligation to answer your questions as pertains to DGs release on PS3/PC. If they choose not to, that's their business. advlt gamers understand this. Whiny, immature, self-entitled game geeks do not. Ergo, railing on Bethesda is stupid and pointless. They're doing nothing unethical, they're doing nothing wrong. They're not treating anyone like crap. They're not discriminating against anyone. The fact that you don't understand only proves my point. You can't fault the shampoo company for not making head wax for bald guys in what you consider to be a timely fashion. But, no, you probably don't get that either. Maybe senior year.

Huh never saw that rule before, was that made after the horse armour debacle? They lost a good amount of customers then, either way we don't really need to make a boycott . As usual 4 chan, reddit or one of the likes will cause a commotion, and just like what happened to EA and mass effects 3s ending its going to be hilariously bad. Either way gentlemen just sit back and watch the show.

There is very little info in that announcement but every info is important! Why mention that the release for XBox is already available worldwide? The NDA doesn't allow them to give more info on Danwguard but this indirect info could mean that the latest release for XBox worlwide has not yet been done 30 days ago. So he can't tell anything else

. Was the last release the 10th july? Then we have to wait at least till the 10th august to have some more info...

I agree with him too, but I think what people are so mad about is how Bethesda is has not said anything, and to me that is a little strange, but I do agree with what that guy said.

just have a question what if BGS doesn't even release DG just because MS paid them not to how would u feel would u just buy an xbox? or get mad and not buy anything from them? another question if I eat at a restaurant are the restaurant staff not obligated to the customers to tell how long it will be before their food is served and why it took so long?

if they say 30 mins and you end up having to wait 3 hours, than in my opinion yes they better have some esplainin to do

Everyone in this topic can't wait to get their hands on dawnguard and griping and complaining proves how bad they want it - if they didn't - then they would be out doing something else, playing different games; instead of griping about no communication or release.

exactly BGS is obligated to respond to us the customers comes first anyone tht sees different may not be wrong legally but are wrong morrally, some industries have alot of middle men and dnt care about customers that doesn't make them right but BGS can't hide behind middle men they know tht if they lied to us they must pay the price.

Again, they're under no obligation to release on any platform. Would I get mad? Heck no. That's, well, that's just the stupidity of not having anything else to worry about besides when your next game is coming out. For the record, I have an X-box. And I have Dawnguard on that Xbox. However, my daughter plays that and I have not played it at all, not even for a minute. I play Skyrim on my laptop, mostky without 3D for the fudgy way shadow objects are treated as 3D objects. It gives me a headache. Plus, I get better play without 3D, and higher quality graphics. In any case, even though I do own an Xbox, I won't be playing DG on it at all and I'm in the waiting boat for the PC release with everyone else.

Absolutely I will buy the next ZeniMax/Bethesda release of the TES series (unless, of course, it's PS3 only), regardless of whether it's a new game or DLC/expansion. There's just about nothing out there than can compete with Skyrim in the RP genre. The closest if probably Oblivion. Morrowind is too dated to be playable for me any longer. Gothic 3 comes close, but you want to talk about glitched games? And you want to talk about long waits for sequels? Forget Duke Nukem, that was superfast. I played Wasteland, original release, on my C64 (EA released it) and have been waiting for a sequel since. Evolution of games and gaming aside, this was the finest post-apocalyptic game of all time and clearly the MAJOR inspiration for all of the Fallout series. How long have I been waiting? 24 years so far.

And no, I haven't been assaulting Moby Games, EA, or anyone else on a daily basis while I've been waiting.
