*cough* Horse Armour *cough*

I think enough time has passed to let that one die. But apparently I'm wrong. Nobody forced you to buy horse armor lol.

I hope everyone can be civil about this subject. While it's perfectly fine to have a negative opinion about the lack of a solid release date, you have to express them in a civil and mature way. We do not want to see immature hostile posts :nono:

Anyway, the only official word we have as of now, is from http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1398818-inquiries-re-dawnguard-release/. So unfortunately we have to wait until there is more information.

Gstaff has also said he will have more information very soon.

The 1.7 patch has been released for pc and should be going out to the console manufactures this week.

I heard that Hines tweeted something like don't worry info for PS3/PC Dawnguard will be coming soon. Patch 1.7 will likely be hitting consoles late this week- early next week which means we may see DG soon.

I said it with an intended nudge and wink :P

I never bought it because I never saw the point. Ironically now we have mounted combat, it would make sense to have it. I guess it was ahead of its time :D

The whole backlash turned joke over that DLC was not because it was useless. I mean it added an AR to your horse as well as doubling it's HPs. That is far from being a joke. Hell, it was $2...

The whole dis mess with it, is because it was the first DLC. And it wasn't the size everyone expected. What they failed to realize is, it was a test run for XBL. To ensure everything worked, downloaded and played like it was supposed to.

To be perfectly honest senor, it never got me angry/riled up or made me think less of beth. Its like laughing about that time someone tripped over for me. Was it daft on the face of it? Yeah. Was it supremely insulting/bad business *insert general rage here*? Nope.

But nevertheless that is an enlightening post, I never knew that!

Well, Dawnguard is a far cry from Horsey Metal... I thought it was great...then again, I purchased all the DLC at one time. Almost a year after the GOTY release.

Just for clarification - Moderators are just members (with a few extra buttons for managing the forums, as Ro likes to say) - we don't get inside information from Bethesda prior to you guys. We get told stuff when a blog post or something goes up publically.

That depends heavily on the policy of the developer you are working for. Because in the one I work for I tend to have info way sooner than regular users.

That′s the reason you sign a NDA.

Now maybe you don′t have sooner info, but I′m sure some moderators will have privileged information IMO. That′s for sure. Most of the time in that moderator′s & admins forum there are in every site.

I actually was wondering how long it would take until someone made a horse armor comment in a respose to that post. Apparently less than five minutes is all it took. I did pick up on the humor tho.

I predict that the PC/PS3 Dawnguard release date is going to be announced at Quakecon!

I hope you're right for all people here, crazy and normal, that spend their time in 19 threads (and more "unofficial") and 2000+ posts for this answer: maybe yes, maybe not, maybe "maybe", however Soon?

He said they would have something to say later this week, so yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if it's announced at Quakecon. Is there somewhere online to watch it live?

If you think about it, it makes prefect sense. Bethesda / Todd always likes to announce things in front of an audience.

Just had a quick search on Google, the collectors edition of Skyrim was announced at Quakecon, if that counts for anything. I think it's possible that they'll announce Dawnguard for PC/PS3 at Quakecon

:lmao:   never! PC forever!

Platform wars/flamebaiting is frowned upon here. Don't do that. It's neither needed nor kind.
And don't bother posting that you were only kidding and I should relax. I'm quite relaxed, thank you very much. But you were clearly passive-aggressive.

I have both an isolated gaming pc and an Xbox360 and each have merit. So I'm not a console gamer nor pc gamer. I'm simply a person who enjoys games.
Perhaps you can get to that point some day. I hope so.

On topic: I have DG on 360 but will not purchase for my pc until some game mechanics glitches are patched.
