read the thread.
It's not directly comparing the two DLCs, it's comparing the style - KotN took place in the vanilla oblivion world, whereas shivering isles didn't. So therefore DG is the KotN of skyrim. See?
I have read the thread, and some are comparing the two dlcs in more than that way.
Knights of the Nine took place in the vanilla game and Dawnguard did, okay. Knights of Nine may have took place in the vanilla game, but it did not change the game in any way. It did not add to the vanilla game. You missing my point. Dawnguard did something Knights of the Nine didn't, in many different ways.
They can not be comparable. Knights of the Nine is smaller than Dawnguard and did less. I'm not comparing Dawnguard falsely to SI either. Dawnguard was never going to be SI, and I doubt any Skyrim dlc will be.
Dawnguard did something new, on it's own, that's not comparable to Knights of the Nine nor SI.
As the above said, it's more comparable to Broken Steel which affects the vanilla game.
Dawnguard is not the Knights of the Nine of Skyrim.
