I write how I speak.. With pauses in the spots where there should be a pause..

In that case I now read all your posts imagining you talk like the wheelchair-bound kid from Malcolm in the middle. :D

Normally I don't become mad or anything regarding late DLC or something like that, but this is just crossing the line. I bought Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas (Special Edition) and I love those games but...they are full of bugs and glitches and most importantly freezes. I am sure I have had to turn off the PS3 more than 30 times in all my plathroughs. I played everyone of those games more than 100 hours at least, mostly because I like them but also because I am a trophyhunter.

The fact is, I just knew Skyrim would have the same problems when it would be released. I had some doubts since they let us know it would be a new engine, but again it all came back. I personally don't understand how this is possible everytime they release a game on PS3. Is it that hard to develop it on this console? Do they make versions of it on another console and they just port it to the PS3? Anyway, i'd rather not say this but if this is going to happen again with the next Fallout (4) or the next Elder Scrolls and they know it, then just DON'T RELEASE IT on PS3. I would love to play those games but it's not worth it if I get a freeze every X minutes or hours. Let alone have to wait extra long for certain DLC and updates.

I hope Bethesda can improve their games technically on the PS3 other than that they are wonderfull to play with. In this case I hope Dawnguard get's reduced in price or we get something extra, it's one thing to wait (again) for some DLC for let's say a few days, but this is becoming weeks and who knows maybe even months.

Lets just face it dawnguard wil be old and forgotten before they release it on the PS3.
So if they expect anybody to buy it for $20 when they finally release it without giving anything extra, they sould go see a doctor as soon as possable.
or at least stop smoking so mutch weed.

Dream long and dream happy i think it's safe to assume that if they relese it it will be playable but full of annoying small bugs and they will charge you full price, at worst it will be unplayable and they will expect you to pay 30 dollars because of theyre hard job.

You know what, if people want to spend their money on the DLC....they should be able to. I am sick of people on here saying we shouldnt buy the DLC because it wont be worth it, or stop supporting bethesda. That is ridiculous. The people who are giving out this advice are the ones who are playing on 360 or PC.....so shut up!

I'm on the PS3, and I think that since Bethesda has really failed to give us the same level of support and respect they've shown their other customers, you should stop supporting them on the PS3. I know that if I am ever going to buy a Bethesda product again, it's going to be on the PC. That way, I'll be able to get the unofficial patches to solve all the problems Bethesda are apparently happy to leave in their games.

You know i played Skyrim on PS3 and I am pretty sure it won't be worth [censored], since start of game Bethesda haven't show any genuine support for PS3 if they relese it, then we will be paying for more bugs.

I don't see why you guys are saying its buggy. Since Skyrim is my first game from bethesda, I didn't know anything about their games. I bought it a week after it came out, the only bug I came across is the game freezing a lot while swimming. The only bug I found in 1.5 was people from the companions. People were Following me and talking to me for no reason this was disabling me from fast travelling. It kept saying guards are persuing me when I had no bounty or hadn't shouted AT ALL.

They are the only bugs I know of..

PS3 was probably the most buggy one before Dawnguard (I have friends that play on PS3 and Skyrim was nearly unplayable for them). Dawnguard will probably add on to the bugs and make it worse. Unless, Bethesda is actually fixing it like they say they are.
I'm on the PS3, and the only thing that's ever killed it for me was when my first save got corrupted, but that's about it.
Oh, and my friend crashes while in water, these are the only major things that can ruin my game completely.
I got Skyrim about 2-3 weeks after release, and I've been playing since.

While Oblivion did play nicely, might I remind you of the still yet to be fixed game-greaking vampire cure bug that's a platform exclusive to the PS3? The atmosphere of the forum was a lot different than "Oblivion's ported nice" back in the day.

I think your pauses are due to lack of excercise, go check outside, a new thing was developed. No names are in stone, but were just calling it, "The sun". Great for your skin

Just kidding bro dont have a heart attack (see what i did there?)

Just like before, i dont mind waiting, but an update would be great. I know we at least have the confirmation, but something along the lines of, this month, next month, etc would appease some of the fans. Im just tired of constantly checking these forums to be dissapointed.

Im not exactly understanding what this has to do with the thread.. Sure you can go make a thread how I put 2 periods instead of 1.. But your messing around about something that has nothing to be messed with.. If you are trying to prove a point by attacking the person who you can't prove wrong.. being me.. You should really grow a pair and use defense in terms of knowledge and not in personal comments that have no valid stand in this thread.. I don't even believe personal remarks about people on this forum is allowed to be honest..

Or that they are over-ambitious. No other games can boast the size AND complexity of TES.
Pure bull. Why can't the "fans" ever admit the game has faults and the company refuses to fix them?

Because some are very young and immature.

If you were to replace your multiple full stops with commas, say, instead of '..' simply put a , there would be none of this.

Basically, it's a grammar Nazism without bothering to correct the foible in question.

And with that, I shall cease to be off topic, other than to say I'm not knocking you, you write legibly and tbh that's the important thing :)

PSN updates on wednesday's not tuesday, and maintenance on thursday.I have been really patient concerning dawnguard, i understand they are encountering problems with it for ps3, i just wish we had some sort of idea of when to expect it, when they said info coming 'soon' but made us wait a few days :(

When Skyrim came out I played it constantly on my PS3. Only in June did I pic up a good PC and Skyrim for it.

That being said, I can honestly say PS3 should be able to handle Dawnguard.

But I can also honestly say the PS3 version suffers a lot in order to be playable. I'd usually end up starting a new character once one reached about lv 50-60. With all locations found and a TON of stuff stored cause I'm a horder... haha well it would be difficult to play. My save files never got corrupted but the game would suffer from longer then expected load screens. I'd crash occasionally but those could be predicted and avoided by turning off the system for a bit to cool down. Larger save files are harder for the system to play. I don't know if the 360 players have the same issues or not. I won't be getting it on the PS3 but have DG on the PC. Its fun so far.

I think I experienced every possible glitch on the PS3. froze when going in water and such. Ended up deleting and re-installing the game data (not the save data) to correct that issue.

God I remember that. 'I just need one more ingredient from you. It's called Bloodgrass and can be found in the planes of oblivion' *Comes back with bloodgrass* Speak to the witch 'I just need one more ingredient from you. It's called Bloodgrass and can be found in the planes of oblivion' :swear: Take my goddam bloodgrass.
Apparently it can be fixed if you change the language to German or something.

Personally, with Oblivion, F3, F:NV, and Skyrim so far, I've been lucky on the bugs. However, from the amounts I've heard other people having them, I still say Bethesda should take more time on their games, and perhaps increase the size of their Beta testing teams by 5 or so. They will never get all the bugs that are out there, but there is no excuse for certain, game-breaking bugs to slip through, and even more so on some never getting fixed. I.E. Oblivions Vampire Cure glitch that was just mentioned.

Hopefully, and this is a BIG hopefully, Bethesda is trying to rectify their rather poor track record on catching bugs with DG by delaying the release for us PS3 users, and will start doing so for the other platforms as well. C'mon Bethesda, we all know you can do it, just try. Please? :foodndrink:
