PS3 Release for Dawnguard #33

Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 9:17 pm

This actually made me laugh. Can you imagine walking down some side street in New York and out of the shadows you hear this 'Hey man, you wanna buy some PS3 Skyrim? Just have a little taste man!' and then from the shadows appear Gstaff wearing full on bling with the gold grill and everything and s/he is like 'Yeah man this stuff will get you high as fark! You wanna ride the dragon man? Well you can't but you will soon, we're working on it...'

Hahaha

I suppose that one must laugh in these situations. You describe this far better than I.

Instead of chasing the dragon it'll be chasing the Dragonborn ;)

For [censored] sake this is beyond a joke at this stage, its like frustrated individuals are being herded and pushed into
Does anybody know why PS3 users are getting the standard 'We're still working on it' response?'. I mean is it a legal thing to protect Bethesda from legal reprecussions, like as an example if they said 'It'll be here in 12 months' and 12 months came and went they could get sued, or is it more of a trying to protect the Bethesda rep thing, or is it just because they don't give a frag about PS3 users?

Is there a method to their madness or is it just being a d-hole for the sake of it?

Because were being treated as [censored] idiots at this stage.this standard we're still working on it bull [censored] for too long now.July and august was fine for it but this is [censored] November and were well on the way to reaching the middle of the month with no sign of anything at all. With more DLC's coming out for the XBOX360 and PC its like being fed bull crap. It aint gonna fly anymore i mean were being led down the merry path, all the while being told, were working on it, thanks for your support guys. [censored] that [censored] i say.

I mean were being shoved into a single thread and told complain all you want but no flaming. i mean this svcks major [censored] balls i swear it would drive a saint mad with agggravation

Summer, lets assume that each person who does that is an angry consumer regarding this situation. Banning them would likely mean Forum genocide.

Also, you can hide all the boycotting/petition posts you want, but that's silly and childish. Just my opinion.

That is not my concern. My job here is to keep posts within the rules of this forum. Everyone agrees to follow those rules when they join. If they break them, we warn or ban them. Simple as that. Everyone can post complaints about the company or the games. They may not encourage spamming the forum and they may not flame one another or groups of members. And they may not question moderator action on the open forum. The rules tell you to discuss such things with the moderator via pm. I suggest you not flame moderators either. Here are the rules that apply:

http://www.gamesas.com/topic/724862-forum-rules-and-general-information/
7. Flaming is not allowed.

Insulting individuals or groups of members and name calling are flames. Any remark that is made to insult or demean another member or group of members will be considered a flame and thus you may receive a warning for it.
Calling people a troll or an apologist for instance can both be considered a flame as can calling someone stupid or ADD. Attacking Xbox players, PS3 players or PC players is not allowed and calling them "console kiddies" or in anyway indicating someone is in some way a lesser person because of their choice is considered a flame here.

9. Posting about moderator or administrator action or inaction is also against the rules of this forum.

Please feel free however to contact the moderator involved, another moderator you feel comfortable with, our community manager Gstaff or another admin if you disagree with a moderator action. Our moderators do not mind taking a second look or discussing an action with the other moderators and admin to assure they have acted fairly. So if you think you've been treated wrongly or that unfairly, be sure to send a PM. Sometimes moderators make mistakes.

Petitions/Boycotts
We do not allow the creation of petitions or boycotts on the forum. This includes creating a thread for the purpose of discussing a petition or boycott elsewhere.

More boycott/petition discussion has been removed. Further discussion of it will result in warnings to your accounts and short suspension times.

If it was some crappy little game I don't think we'd all be so bothered. But the fact that it truly is an awesomely epic game, with Jeremy Soule's evocative music adding even more to the whole experience, not being able to carry on as other players are able to feels like being made to stand outside in the cold looking through the window, while everyone else is inside having fun at a party.

We love this game - it's drawn us all in in so many ways we want more - please can we have more too?

Please can we just be treated the same as other console users - with a modicum of respect and appreciation.

Pretty please

With a cherry on top

Do we really have to beg for more?

I said this on the last thread but it was one of the last posts.

Dont you guys think they will wait until 1.8 is released before they give a release date for PS3? That was rumored to be the patch to fix the problems with DLC so maybe we will hear something soon.

As for people trying to talk to Tweet Hines, dont bother. The only thing he responds to is criticism and sports. He wont answer anything else. Which i dont understand. There has to be SOME sort of progress they could tell us about. Its not like they are all sitting around doing nothing. Or maybe they are. I dont know anymore

Still waiting on Dawnguard for the past *checks watch* 5 months. Bethesda, get your act together and stop svcking up to Microsoft. All that does is piss off your core fans (PC users) who probably won't buy your DLC because the modding community tend to get equally decent stuff churned out faster, while leading PS3 users on like this ensures that most of them won't buy any of your games new again (though from your PR standpoint it seems you don't want the business anyway)

PS users have gotten the short end of the stick since day 1 concerning skyrim. It had been one debacle after another from the get go. the lagging and other issues,
its a joke really from a joke of a developer really.
Instead of of bringing in programmers who are able to handle a ps they just ported it over.
Its idiotic really and now people are suffering for it.
it would drive the patience of a saint

I love seeing Bethdrones bashing the PS3 on the Dragonborn trailer. They'll do anything to please their overlords.

I think they should release the DLC Dawnguard, as is, if it isn't already fixed. As they siad it was working just not to a qulity that would please all. And then start to make patches for it after it is released. Then at least we could play it on PS3...

Honestly, that might not be a bad idea. Just release it with a giant disclaimer warning consumers it might not work as expected. I would be ok with that.

I bet if you go into the Bethesda workplace all you see etched into walls and on mousepads is: " <3 Microsoft" and "Bill Gates + Bethesda 4 ever"

Has someone who is more eloquent and with a better ability to explain everything that's happened, ( right from the start of them releasing a substandard game to the one promised on 11-11-11 their failure to fix things, communicate with customers and finally to release DLC in line with the promises made) thought about contacting the BBC's watchdog programme like some people did with EASports FIFA 13

Lets see them ducking out of replying to them and giving them a satisfactory answer.

3rd new DLC looks so freaking awsome, I doubt we'll ever get to play it.

If it releases on PS3 version of GOTY I'll make sure to buy it used so Bethesda dosn't get any money from the purchase.

Please don't spam. Many more posts have gone away. Many more will and many warnings have been issued. Folks, spamming the forum or this thread won't get us answers. It only serves to make moderators grumpy. I'm sorry. I know you want answers and I wish for them as well but the spam must stop...it won't help.

Please go easy on the ban hammer, It's hard for many of us to contain our rage, your probably with Xbox so you don't understand.

You have no idea how abused all us PS3 fans feel.

I have all three platforms. Still, I do understand and I do feel bad for those who play exclusively on PS3 like my son does. I also wish they would let us know something. I'm in your court on this. But I do ask that people voice their complaints without flaming one another or the moderators and that they not spam or make threats. Stay within the rules of the forum.

Any suggestions as to what WILL get us at least SOME answers or communication? They seem to be sorely lacking atm - Gstaff hasn't posted for the last couple of threads and when he did he gave us no new information, just the company line variation of "we're working on it"

I think it's time Sony called a recall on skyrim.
If users wish to hand in their copy and recieve a refund.
I won't purchase anything with Beth's name on it again, that's why I haven't purchased dishonored.
IF I ever do, I'll buy it pre owned so they don't make a cent off me.
