Well...

It's in the works.. otherwise, Beth would have told us "it is cancelled".

I'm playing Deus Ex in waiting. Good stuff

I picked up Darksiders two. I spent the money I saved up for Dawngaurd on other things.

Dishonored comes out Oct. 9th, I believe. They probably won't want to take away that game's thunder, so if DG doesn't come in September, it probably won't come for a very long time. I'm guessing the latter, just my opinion.

Honestly, if a DLC can take away it's thunder. It wouldn't be worth it anyways.

This all is just craziness though. We can at least hope that Beth is taking notes and learns from the mistakes made these past couple months.

I completely agree the lack of info is awful. I would expect at least biweekly updates to PS3 folks about how it is going, other than "duh..no news..duh.."

However, I also realize complaining won't solve anything. We get it when we get it.

BUT.. I think that PR should be more proactive in relaying info to the last console they are releasing on. Xbox and PC users have it, and PS3 users are simply navigating through "um.. well.. not ready.. but...yeah.. no news".
I know folks would want at least a timeframe. Me? I keep with these forums to voice a simple opinion and check google/PSN in hopes it has released. For now I keep busy with games I bought that are price-reduced. Skyrim is awesome and all.. but with so many characters over the past (almost) year, I am a little lackluster about the DLC. I'm about ready to throw in the towel and simply wait for a GOTY edition. And don't give me this "coding for PS3 is hardcoe" garbage. There are plenty of games for the system out there and it seems ridiculous to cry "it's too hard for us!".

Love ya though, Bethesda. Great lore, great games... bad PR.

The lack of information is disappointing, but Beth's got to do what Beth's got to do, right? If it would be released in a sub-par state, that would lead to even more complaints, and by then people would even be able to take legal measures since they payed for a product that is not of the promised quality. At this moment, Bethesda owes you nothing. All we can do is be patient, and hope that when it comes out, the game will be in good state.

For those looking for their RPG-fix, may I advice Borderlands and Fallout: New Vegas? Borderlands is a FPS with RPG elements mixed in (especially great for the looters out there), and Fallout: New Vegas is a more traditional RPG that was released by Bethesda a few years ago, and is still a fantastic example of RPGs. You should be able to find both at $20 or less if you know where to look. Have patience!

I just laugh every time I hear someone say "I'm not going to buy another Bethesda game/product." At this point, I do not care when it comes out I'm still going to buy it. Got plenty of other games to fill my time with. KHBBS, LoL, FF, Fallout 3, MW, and even skyrim itself. If you haven't gotten the oblivion walker achievement yet or collected and hunted for all 9 masks there is no reason to be complaining about DG. (PS3 owner btw) And you know, sometimes its just fun to explore on foot. Go into every single cavern, cave, camp, and fort you find. Killin [censored]

I haven't had any serious bug since I bought the game when it first came out. I guess I'm pretty lucky.

The only bug you can say is an extremely slight problem is when I get fall damage for stepping over a broken skeleton.

If they'd just give us an estimated date, I'd stay quiet till then. Admittedly, I'll probably buy DG if it comes out in the coming months maybe even the other Skyrim DLCs that will come out, but Skyrim will be my last Bethesda game.

It is impossible to have done EVERYTHING (Platinum trophy) in Skyrim at around 100 hours, unless you seriously rushed everything and didn't look around once. The main quest and faction quests will probably take you a good 50 hours if you take your time and look around during the quests. Then add Daedric quests, that's another 15 or so hours. By that time you will still only have discovered a fraction of the game. I can guarantee you that it will require you at least 200 hours to visit every dungeon, and finish every quest (radiant quests aside). I'm 250 hours in, and am not even close to a Platinum trophy (60% or so). Starting new characters with different builds also mixes things up, and can make you feel like you're playing a whole new game.

Besides, if Dawnguard comes out, what are you gonna do? That's another 20 hours of gameplay. and then it's back to anime again? There are so many great games out there for 20 bucks or less, seriously.

I got all the trophies except the 20 shouts because it got glitched, All under 128 Hours without rushing through the game...And Im A Stealth Player,,.I opened every chest from all the Dungeons I ever went to, I think i been to around 300 and some locations....I found that skill books always cost around 40-60 gold so that helped me with the oblivion walker trophy

I must be among the lucky PS3 users. I've had minimal bugs since the beginning, through all patches... and the last patch even "reset" a companion member that had become hostile toward me for no reason (that I know of, on my main character).

Just bring on DG so I can play both questlines!

Yours truly,

Patiently waiting and playing Deus Ex in the mean-time.

I haven't expierienced a single bug and I can guarantee that I have more play time on Skyrim than all of you.

I have at least 600 hours on Skyrim( rough estimate, I don't have my PS3 with me to check) I got the Plat at about 125 hours, but I'm a boss at Elder Scrolls games, plus I'm pro at getting plats, I have at least 20 plats. Point is you cannot get a plat at 100 hours. There are just wwaaayyy too many things and getting the guild master trophy takes around 15-20 hours by itself. Then you have to beat the other faction questlines and the main quest and all the Daedric quests take quite awhile. You just can't do it in 100 hours.

Dawnguard will ultimately be canceled for PS3. YES, i know, i am a ps3 user also, but i VERY much think that it will be canceled. No way does it come out now.

Funny because ol' Petey tweeted that Beth wants each platform to be able to expierience DG so you're wrong!

Wow,,,, and here I am without my hip-waders having to walk through the dairy lagoon. What's with all the chest pounding? LOL

Bethesda rarely says anything specific, they will always leave an out to run through if they need it. Latest word on DLC for PS3 is that "The game is not yet satisfactory" for some users " so.... , " We'll let you know...... something....later....someday... or..... maybe.... uh..... whatever....

What I know is that it is not satisfactory for BETHESDA if the DLCs gets even worse engine performance reviews/publicity than the original base game. Its also not satisfactory for THEM if the cost to make the DLC work on the PS3 markedly exceeds what they had originally budgeted for it back when the whole business plan was outlined for Skyrim. Its about their money folks, not our wants per se. They already got our money, they aren't about to give it back via free stuff unless its made up somewhere else, and they aren't about to spend THEIR money on a new product that doesn't leave some pre-determined margin of PROFIT being returned to THEM. The longer the delay the fewer the sales, the fewer the sales, the less profit. If you can't see where this is leading to... well... put the rose colored filter back up so you can maintain the image of your perfectly flawless games! out

I haven't expierienced a single bug and I can guarantee that I have more play time on Skyrim than all of you.

it seems to be a hit and miss thing. Some people have very smooth games, some people have very glitchy horrible games.

Me personally at release, I had to turn off auto saves or else ironically they would crash my game and make me start over. And without that I had many many crashes.

Here's a bug that just about everyone should have, be a vampire and put on the thieves guild or guild master hood. Rather than wearing a hood, you get a bald spot.

Theres also the nightingale hoods changing from their greyish color to white.

Some people have broken quests to start with. Some people accidentally find items while exploring, making the quest associated to the item found impossible to complete if on a console. So, broken quests.

My main issue was the constant crashing until 1.7

And 1.7 actually made things worse for some people. It was hit and miss, again. I don't know why.

I don't get why the PS3 players are too mad about this. First they are complaining about how bad of a performance the game had on PS3, and now they want the DLC rushed instead of bethesda verifying that it's stable.
