Most of us do keep it civil, i only arrived here a few days ago to avoid the carnage that plagues other boards such as mindless rants with no substance and 14 year olds whinging about this mess, without having any real clue what's going on or where we're at. I appreciate the mods must keep a firm grip on this sensitive subject and also thank them (and 90% of the members i've met thus far) for not letting it degenarate into a venting session.

What we could do with now is a little light shed, I won't hold my breath. I've more chance of pre-ordering Fallout 7 next week than hearing DG updates i'd bet.

It appears that they have a memory leakage problem from one of the core part of the game engine and it was patched up for the base game but somehow the dlc is bringing it back. BTW if you don't know, a memory leak on a console game is BAD

Yup, it was the same price as PS3 version when it came out. But to answer your other question - you'll have to download the CK separately but there's no cost. It's easy to use once you get it.

I think we will get dawnguard and the rest of the dlc. Now that its official that sony is helping they might realise a "fix" patch next that also includes the trophy support for dawnguard. I personally think dawnguard will come out in the Halloween season to cash in on the Vampire theme, so i figure a realise date between October 25 - October 31. By what i know of the situation on ps3 its that there running out of ram on the system so extra content can't be added. If i was them i would try to do the following and see how it works out

1. Greatly shorten the amount of time a corpse, ash pile, random arrow, or anything like that to go away.
2. Reduce the amount of burned books, linen raps, and soul gem shards in the world. (seriously why are there so many)
3. Disable V-sync
4. Disable FXAA and try another form of AA (or at least reduce the amount of blur)
5. Fix quests that cause things to keep respawing (looking at you letresh)

Those are the things i would try, but im not a game developer and i don't know if its even possible. Just putting my opinion

Here's what I would try:

1) Walk into Bethesda's main offices and take the boss by the balls

2) Pull out a hacksaw or maybe a garden shears

3) Ask nicely that he get their lead programmer on the phone

4) Let the lead programmer here the bosses screams down the phone

5) Ask the lead programmer to put out a detailed press release of everything they've messed up on when making the game

6) Ask someone to switch me to decaf......

Once that's done I might the give then 48hrs more to release a totally bug free fix and DLC for my PS3 or else thy can take my place later today for chemotherapy.

(I'm just annoyed at watching the Hearthfire videos on YouTube with the idiots buying in log at a time. >_<)

I'd really like to offer a better solution but I think holding someone's genitals in a vice or using the threat of garden implements on them is the only productive way forward.

No offensive but PS3 gamers patience has been wareing thin lately not just with Beth but also with the Xbox and PC gamers remarks over and over and over again and now it has gotten to the point of rage and because of that asking poeple to control thier venting (anger) is that much more harder because we are at the rage point. It's like trying to stop a forest fire, it cost alot of resouces to try and stop but no matter what it's still going to keep going until everything is burned clean. (until they get everything off thier chest)

Now I believe a forest fire is typically countered with a back fire, so burning things with a controlled fire so that the out of control one has no means of spreading, right?

Would the backfire that would be applied here, be announcing that it won't be released so that there is no longer any grounds to keep being impatient and angry? xD

Yup but that tends to happen when your slowly loseing the plot because now it seem that every PC and Xbox users remarks are always insulting you over and over agian and then thier Beth history with PS3 gamers which a good few I would say have came from fallout, so now adding more insult to injery. I'm suprise it's now at the breaking point after all these years.

They're actually bragging about how PS3 doesn't have anything and they have anything. They are purposely throwing it into peoples faces and admitting to it, and rubbing it in talking down on everyone and cussing them out. It's extremely annoying.

At least on here it can be monitered, but on youtube? Hah dream on. I get cussed out 5 times a day on youtube for having my own opinion. And you know what? When I agree with them they still cuss me out! lol I don't understand I just can't win!

Its all about that bottom line. I can see it now. Beth Blog posts Dawnguard/ Hearthfire now available for PS3!

Point is if DG came out this week, a lot would DL now, and if HF came out the weak of Oct 4th, a lot would DL then. But if you are on the PSN, and both are available, You Will DL both at the same time.

If you are here to say you are gonna boycott the DLC, please go post on FB. You are just as anxious as every other PS3 Skyrim owner:)

This might just be me, but I personally would greatly prefer getting Dawnguard before Hearthfire. I would like to have the same experience as the other players and that would not happen if I got them both at the same time.
