Either way won't happen Bethesda and Microsoft got a long term relationship similar to SE and Sony. I would not except SE to shift from Sony to Microsoft so I don't expect Bethesda to shift either its highly unlikely.

True true but i think they should atleast consider it.

On a totally unrelated note im replay the dark brotherhood and i forgot how much it was a pain in the ass to reach Cicero when its time to kill him... then again im doing it at level 14

They port from the Xbox do to cost its cheaper to port from the Xbox to the PS3 then to go the other way around. Most Multi-platform games are done this way currently. Final Fantasy 13 and 13-2 is just one of the small handful of games that were ported from PS3 to Xbox 360, with all others its Xbox to PS3.

That is typical of games that have their roots on one platform or another. Games like call of duty and gta are built from the ground up, side by side.

Wasn't Dishonored developed that way as well?

thats how all games should be built, this porting from one system to another seems like the lazy way out

Call of Duty isn't built that way. They're way worse. They have the worst ports from 360 to PS3.

Games that are ported from PS3 to 360 usually run just fine on the 360. Games that port from 360 to PS3 don't usually run very well because the companies that develop them think it's too much of a pain to develop for PS3 and just do a crappy port. That's what happened with Fallout and Skyrim.

I have played every COD made for PS3 and I have never had a problem from those games. As a matter of fact, I have never had nowhere near the trouble I have had with Skyrim on any game I have played on PS3.

If they don't get Dawnguard to work they better at least give us arrow crafting and Dragonbone weapons in a patch. I think that's fair compensation. Maybe throw the Aetherium quests in too.

And crossbows as well. I don't even care if they are part of the Dawnguard main quest anymore, just throw them in the crafting menu and dump some mobs where ever that will drop ingredients.

I have been reading thru all of your posts, and I can understand the frustration. I am getting very impatient myself now.

But I am going to play optomist here for a minute and say, that maybe they are having such issues with the DLC is because PS3 is such a superior platform than all the rest, they actually have to put real time and effort into it for it to work.

I say this, because since I first bought a Playstation, I have never looked at another platform. To me they are all inferior and not worth my time.

Like I said. Just playing the optomist.

Well, yes. Talking only consoles I'd say the Playstation is definitely the best. I have never seen a situation like this with any other company except Bethesda, from the amount of bugs to possibly no DLC. It's very frustrating seeing Bethesda not go the extra mile to ensure a pristine game before release, and consequently this affects them and the community who brought them where they are today. From time to time again, Bethesda seems to not realize the mistakes they've made in the past and make sure they don't happen again. Pre-release it seemed as if the PS3 version would finally be working better and given more attention, but seeing the situation they put themselves in today, it's safe to assume the PS3 version was not given enough attention. It was Bethesda's choice to put their game on the PS3 and their supporters shouldn't have to suffer by paying the same amount as other platforms for a sub par product.

I agree with this, even though I play on PS3, it is in no way superior to the PC, in my opinion.

I also agree, but to be honest PC players do have to put a lot of money into their PC. Any old PC would probably be significantly worse than a console.

Not really. The article mentions nothing about DLC, and it looks like the product is only being released in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

PC are really not that expensive anymore, especially not if your building your own... just got to have the know how.

I probably would have by now if I knew the first thing about computers. Unfortunately, the specs make my head spin, and by the time I decipher what they mean, the specs have changed and I'm looking at the computer equivalent of a trilobite fossil.

Have to disagree. In fact i would take it a step past disagree.

If Bethesda is releasing a new premium edition, in any market, i wonder how much work has been done on the PS3 DLC issue? I mean i think i saw they were planning a PS3 version of this alleged premium edition...huh?!?

Fallout New Vegas had an 'Ultimate Edition' released on PS3 post-Skyrim-debacle and it is/was an utterly broken and blatant money-grab.
