PS3 Release for Dawnguard - Thread #30

Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 9:22 pm

Well... once again we are playing the blame game... I still think we should pressure them for an answer... I do like Skyrim on my PS3 i enjoy it i do but i want to have crossbows especially since i currently have an assassin ranger build going. I mean even Hearthfire i get to build my own home >.> I WANNA DO THAT TOO Damn xboxturds must be sitting at home reading stuff like this going loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool this is why Xbox is better -.-' not really considering this is a bad port... Still if it comes down to it maybe they might have to hand off the coding and what not to a third party or let Sony do it... It is there product after all they built the damn thing.

Don't care for AC never have and as far as exclusive DLC goes that's nothing new to AC on PS3, Don't get why anyone is crying over it. If you have not gotten use to it after all these years..your just well..sad.

Side note: Just found a Minecraft video of someone who built a giant functioning toilet

Final Fantasy VI is still my favorite of the bunch. Haven't played XIII-2 yet, and Versus XIII is still in the ether somewhere.

Getting back on topic though, what do you think will happen if 11/11/12 comes and goes and Bethesda still hasn't said anything about DLC for the PS3?

I won't care too much, but will be a little surprised, especially if they announce the next DLC Dragonborn.

I can't really lose anymore faith in them seeing as I am not really touching my copy of Skyrim anyways, I just sick of seeing PS3 owners get treated so badly. Time for some information Bethesda time for some words, some mojo, A good helping of Yes we screwed up but we will make this crap work or die trying.

Its gonna be interesting to see to say the least.

A thought i had:

* ~13 million copies of TESV: Skyrim sold to date.
* Sold @ $60.00 USD.
* ~$780 million gross on the base game, no DLC sales in that. $780,000,000

But according to someone in their organization, rolling back a tiny percentage of that and spending it on the payroll for a REAL PS3 dev team is too expensive.

Hmm?

Six, seven, nine, and twelve are the best, if you ask me ;)

And the news is still "there is no news"? If i was a PS3 player, i'd have read between the lines and burned my Skyrim copy at this point :P

But seriously, it's a shame if you never get Dawnguard, I still say it's overpriced, but still it's a pretty good content.

I got 6 and 12, started 6 and 12 but put them aside until I finish either 7 or 9. I got about 4 or 5 Rpg's I am playing so I don't want to make the list bigger

I agree DG is overpriced not that I care just happy it added something else to do.

My dog needs a new frisbee, then again he might become glitched or broken just from catching the disk.

I love IV-X myself. I like XII's mythos a lot, but I don't think they did a good job integrating it with the story and world as much. Same with XIII. The thing I give XII over XIII is sidequests. XII's hunts were amazing, and XIII barely has anything going on at all in the world of sidequests. It's way too linear.

VIII and V had two of the best combat systems the series ever had I think.

But on the actual subject of Dawnguard. You say it's overpriced, and I agree, but how much do you think they should have charged for it?

You forget that the $780 million gets sliced and diced around something like http://unrealitymag.com/index.php/2011/04/29/how-your-60-video-game-is-chopped-up/
