Almost a year later.
So, how does everyone like that new engine, special attention, quicker fixes, and level of parity we were supposed to be getting?
Four out of four for lies, broken vanilla game just like Fallout: New Vegas, no DLC, and absolutely no communication besides "we're working on it" to top it all off.
Wow. Bethesda, quite the stand up company there. They should just announce they have no idea what they are doing on the PS3 console and leave it at that. That way, PS3 users would stop waiting on fixes, patches, and DLC and finally let it go. Of course, we would demand refunds for our purchases that we made based on misrepresentation, fraudulent advertising, and lies, but we could finally just move on after the checks clear. Bethesda could also stop trying, and failing, on the PS3 and concentrate on what they love which is the PC and 360 consoles.
Let's just see what happens in 10 days, the one year anniversary of the release of Skyrim. If the game isn't fixed, or doesn't have DLC by then, I feel Skyrim will forever be in it's current state. After releasing a GOTY version of a game, Bethesda has a history of moving on to their next title regardless of the state of their previous release. Speaking of the next release, I am still very curious if they are going to release it on the PS3. If they are, I really want to see how they are going to market it and the tweets from Pete Hines regarding the new title and the lies told about Skyrim. Either way, opening sales for the next one will be close to non-existent for the PS3 console. Depending on reviews and bug reports, sales on the PS3 in general may be close to none. Bethesda may be out of the PS3 game whether they want to be or not just due to lack of profitability.
PS, Someone should tell Pete Hines to be careful about what he posts on twitter. There is always a chance what he tweets may come back to bite him.
