[Xbox360] Skyrim Bug Instalation Textures

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 8:27 am

Nobody is taking you seriously or even taking anything you say with any measure of seriousness. Please, go away.

On topic, CCNA, one of the mods here, said he contacted Gstaff and some Devs about the possibility of the issue. All we can really do is wait for some kind of official word from the Devs. I know Pete tweeted something but it wasn't very specific to the actual possibility of the issue.
WELL IF YOU FEEL THAT WAY I AM SORRY.

I will try in 10 minutes;)
Finally, thank you!
I am sure that is the problem cause some games (Skyrim for example) fill up system cache and HDD stops working like it should for games like that.
After clearing it you should be fine, and i hope we can stop with this ''bug'' thing already.

Guys, I understand that this is a pressing issue for many of you, so I thank you in advance for being cordial and civil. For those of you who aren't being cordial and civil- chill out. I'd rather not lock this thread, so I'm asking all of you to keep your tones level-headed and polite. That means- no capslock (there's no need to yell), no namecalling, etc.

Thanks.

I tried emptying the cache of the HDD but it's always the same, so the problem does not come from there :(

Ah bummer, then it must be something related to the Harddrive and compression issues or something similar that causes the graphics to go down a setting. It'll be fixed by a patch but as to it being the patch on Friday well that's still up in the air.

Thanks for trying.

There's absolutely no way that Bethesda's QA testers didn't encounter this as I'm sure one or more or all of their XB360s were playing Skyrim from the HDD. Bethesda has to know about it.

The question is, will they do something about it?

Then it's out of my power...
I also preordered 360 version so i am a bit concerned too...
I heard load times are 2x longer when loading from disc and ppl with old 360s will have a plane in their room

I asked him about what the day 1 patch will fix hours ago, and he didn't answer, though he answers a lot of dumb questions like: what's your fav character? and so on...

My guess is they probably didn't think of it being that big of an issue and needed to focus on other things that were causing problems, at least that's my theory. They'll fix it but I doubt before Friday's Patch.

Its really annoying that Bethesda wont even acknowledge the issue a simple "we are aware of this issue" would suffice

Not insulting you or anything, but that's useless.

Pete already confirmed that it isn't an issue. However, he is the head of PR and not a Bethesda programmer. Also, he's been wrong before.

Hmm...This is not stopping me from playing something I have been waiting years for, but it worries me when I think about what the reviews will think about it.
