Uhmm... grow up yourself? That was an unnecessary post. He/she only gave us more prof. (Not real evidence though)

I'm referring to the vulgarity of his post which was entirely unnecessary and immature.

Unfortunately I do not notice a change with the usb too ...
I hope the team will work on a patch as soon as possible for these low-res textures.

I return to play Skyrim, Thanks all!
Well I guess that settles that.

Ye this whole hysteria over using disks is insanity. I've always used disks. Played through at least 12 Oblivion campaigns on it. Nothing has changed. It was only the past year I even became aware of it. So people need to chill.

It was only recently that I installed Oblivion on my HDD, before that I'd play hours upon hours from the disk, My disk still works and my Xbox still works, I'm pretty sure these games are designed with the game not being installed to the HDD in mind. I wouldn't worry about the disk "dying".
this
i rarely install games on my 360 (only have an old 20 gig so i need every bit of space i can get) and ive only had 1 game disk 'die'
and that was because my 360 tipped over and the disc reader went bat [censored] crazy and etched a crop circle into the disk

I somehow missed the last sentences in his post. I'm sorry, he was very immature and rude.

The evidence is in my game history DER1977 add me and you can see that i have been playing this game since nov 8,why would i lie about such a serious issue when i played the game for a good few hours but had to stop because the texture loading seriously distracted me.

No they haven't..im guessing they will once they have the fix ready. As for Pete I don't think we can trust him just now. His job after all is to sell this game as CO of PR. So he definitely won't say anything until the problem has a solution..

I'm not defending his post, but I can certainly understand why he is angry.

I did not try to state that you were lying. You didn't give proper evidence at the time so everyone is not expected to believe you. Sorry if I offended you.

I often play a game for a bit, and at some point when I get round to it I install it to the 360 HDD. Still gotta use the discs to play and I don't really recall ever noticing a drastic improvement in load times or texture loading on-screen. The thing is still kinda noisy anyway, so what the [censored]'s the point and therefore the problem?

Guys he isn't a troll. If you look up skyrim news you will see that in some game shops they accidentally sold the game early. Plus I saw a video on YouTube confirming the non hd textures bug after you install it on the hdd of the xbox.

Heat mainly, the xbox is cooler when it's installed meaning it's less pressure on the DVD Drive thus your xbox will last longer. You can certainly play Skyrim uninstalled with no problems, me personally I think it's a risk long term for a 360.

I notice a large decrease in noise, and a slight improvement in load times.

Do you have an xbox? Do you know how hot and loud that thing get when you play from a disk? Also, it will worn it out, so disk will die much faster.
Really?
it will wear out the disc? how long does that take? couple days? *as in before the update is released to fix it*
I have a 250gb Slim 360 and there are some games I install and some I cant be bothered installing and I have never noticed this "my xbox turned into jet engine and was on fire and shaking the house down with noise" problem. Is it only with the older model consoles?

I don't have any experience with the new version of the 360, but any of the old models are rather loud. Even my black 360 elite can be noisy when running purely from the disc.

It's only with the older models, the slim ones make less noise uninstalled. My 360 (Pro White) makes a whole bunch of noise uninstalled, it's like a chainsaw.
