IMAGES CAN VERY EASYILY BE PHOTOSHOPPED TROLL! THERE IS ENOUGH THREADS ON THIS ISSUE ALREADY!
The image clearly isn't Photoshopped. Calm down. The Elder Scrolls game are known for having many bugs when they initially launch, and I expect Skyrim will be no different. I really don't mind 99% of the bugs though. Some of them are actually quite funny.

I just tweeted ol'pety. Just to see what he has to say.

Why wont they tell us. :brokencomputer: :swear: :banghead:

They won't address it because they haven't fixed it. When they fix it, they will say so.

Bit sad this, to be honest. I really wanted to install it, but whatever. I just hope Bethesda take it seriously. Seems very weird that Pete has basically said there's no problem, when there clearly is.

I'll try and reserve judgement till Friday however. It might work fine for me. :)

That's basically what I'm doing, I want to see how big of an issue this may really be for me since I'll be installing Skyrim to my harddrive.

@DCDeacon Should we install to hd if we'll be playing Skyrim on the 360? Some say installing will result in low resolution textures.

@tothedogsforme No, it doesn't work like that. Installing is fine. Playing off disc is fine.

Not to my knowledge, no.

We are going to have to ignore Pete on this one, he's head of PR and needs to keep a straight face so that Skyrim sells out instead of people waiting for the patch to come out.

Hype level down a bajillion. All you fans should really accept that Bethesda fail at quelling bugs, and this will never be fixed.

Nope, enjoy your good textures, you lucky dog.

What brings my jarate to a boil is that developers keep so quiet about that issue, when simple "We dealing with it" will calm me down.

I agree.

There is simply too much evidence suggesting that this issues exists.

It's the way he's worded the answer that concerns me. I think he's answering the question generally without realising that a problem actually exists.

Excatly, the evidence is very high even I can't ignore it any longer. Nothing has been said though about the older xbox's maybe those versions don't have any issues. I'll be installing it to my pro and if I see something come up I'll try to let the forum know. Try being the key word because you might need a crowbar to yank me away from Skyrim.

Haha, I currently have two preorders up, one for the 360 version at amazon UK and one for the PS3 version at amazon US. If I buy the PS3 version I'm getting the official limited edition guide with it, as well as having to wait till next week, it would not be shipped till the 14th.

I just want to make sure which version is the way to go before paying one.

Argh! Why can't someone from BGS just come out and say "Oh, yes we have been aware of the issue and are currently finding a solution". This would suffice. :shakehead:

So it looks like it IS an issue, and downloading a patch (I'm assuming the day 1 patch we've heard about?) fixes it. My apologies to the OP :)
