Spoilers: Questions for the Beta Testers #3

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 9:11 pm

about the snow elves in dawnguard. are they like the elven races? do they look like an altmer for example or do they still look hideous like the falmer in vanilla

They're basically recolored/skinned Altmer. (Although, lore-wise Snow Elves obviously don't look exactly like Altmer with blue/pale skin, but it's better than nothing.)

Also, the Falmer as we knew them in Vanilla are now referred to as the "Betrayed."

I have read every post of the last three threads and I did not see any mention of the promissed craftable and upgradeable silver weapons...

Are they in?
This was addressed in a separate thread. No, no new silver weapons.

Can you talk to/interact with the new Falmer (instead of just kill them)

I heard from one of the Beta Testers on another site that you should "Keep all the Paragons". What's a Paragon, exactly?

Decorative egg thingies found on the frost giants in the Forgotten Vale. You use them to open portals to treasure.

Nice.

Also real shame about not being able to marry Serana. The first hot chick who actually appears to have decent personality, and she's unavaliable. Stupid Molag Bal [censored] trauma.

Hey, more variety than in vanilla Skyrim, where you could either ask and they'd say yes or you couldn't ask. Also, cutting a log in half was enough to make NPCs swoon.

Yes, but I won't spoil it too much for you. Let's just say that these "new Falmer" are the ones that didn't go blind and become enslaved by the Dwemer.

About the Dawnguard Light Armor...There are 3 colour variations right? I noticed that there is a sleeveless version too. So does that make it 3 sleeved + 3 sleeveless=6 Dawnguard ight armors?

Oh, and guys you really have to take some pics of the armors. We PC/PS3 users are getting mad :P

Huh, I forgot about the Paragons. Didn't realize they actually did anything useful, heh.

I'm wondering if you will be able to sneak as a vampire lord, and also if you are able to cast your regular spells, and powers.
