Any chance I can get my hands on this? :hubbahubba:

I swear Exorince mentioned once that he was able to hide the pinned threads. He needs to share his secrets with the rest of us.
I've found out how to nuke them by topic ID; for proxies etc that do regular expression filtering, the following will kill the topics "Community Discussion", "Forum Breach", "Folding@Home" and "The Happy Birthday thread":

s;(
Best to apply it to just the CD index's URL, though. It seems a little bit clumsy (i.e. it'll need updating every time one of the threads is replaced), but it works.

Works a treat, thank you!

That's pretty much what I did

Well this thread is only on post #156 and I am already on page 8... so strange.
At least the avatars are fixed. ^_^

They need to tweak the fonts a bit, maybe the font that is in our reply page Beth?

I use the following in my Stylish custom style for the forum, seems to work well for me:

.post_body .post {	font-size: 13px !important;	line-height: 110% !important;	padding: 0 10px !important;}

Last thing, the drop shadow (?) on the avatars has to go.

(?) That is drop shadow I'm assuming?

Yeah, it's done by these CSS definitions; just take them over to Stylish or similar, and tweak however you like:

.ipsUserPhoto {	border-radius: 3px 3px 3px 3px;	box-shadow: 0 2px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.3);	padding: 1px;}

Personally, I don't mind, so it stays for me.

Thank you! That makes it a lot more readable. First time I've used Stylish, which seems to be a bit more convenient than faffing about with Privoxy (provided I don't swap browsers!) I finally set the line-height to 150% but I guess it's just a matter of personal preference.

I can no longer see who's in a given thread or topic area unless they are members and I click on that stupid upper right corner thing everytime I load a new page... and even then, it doesn't tell me if anyone is posting anything. Now I can't get an easy or comfortable estimate of how active something currently is and if I should stick around to wait for a response.

I was on page 5, clicked the button for page 6 and am now, apparently, on page 8.5 of 8.

The first page of the thread was 20 posts long so page 8 would be accurate for this page but I'm not sure if I missed some of the thread now.

:ahhh:

It'll take some getting used to...
Just goes to show that when you get accustomed to something, change does not always come easy.
It's going to take a couple of months for me. I really don't like the topic font. That's what is going to take getting used to.
Oh well.

Oh, I get it now...the bold topic font turns to regular after you read the topic.
