Little update on the DRM in BioShock 2

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/97649-BioShock-2-DRM-Explained still claims, citing a 2K Games employee, that there's a 15 activation limit--just through Games for Windows Live, not SecuROM. SecuROM will only be used for a disc check. (And apparently won't exist in the Steam version? Since any mention of SecuROM is gone from the storefront page.)
Steam's storefront also lists this among the game's other requirements: "Ability to save game, earn achievements, receive title updates and online play requires log-in to Games for Windows LIVE."
Now why you'd need or want to use GfWL on top of Steam is another conundrum entirely.
