Unofficial Minecraft Thread #68

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 12:12 am

The area was not within any Frostfall enclosures, nor in any area identifiable as Frostfall land. You were warned repeatedly that removing any blocks would be considered block griefing. You ignored this warning.

Terpy has been given a 1 day suspension for block griefing and disobeying clear, direct admin instruction. I defer the matter to Bone for judgement.

Like I care, the server has been crap since you got back. An entire gulag less than 20 blocks next to that compound and you say its not FF? Get a life.

I don't intend to play here anymore. Its been fun playing with you all, especially Kaelin, Keys, Rofl, and Skoom.

Shut your [censored] mouth right now.

Edit: The censor makes that look much ruder than it was intended to be. But y'know, my point stands.

Has it now? You were given a very simple instruction to follow the rules. What you could have done is waited until Game was online and discussed the matter with him, or taken it up with Bone. As it is, you decided you were a law unto yourself. You don't make the rules.
Shut your [censored] mouth right now.
Nay. Don't like my decision? Take it up with Bone. He was with us when we picked the land to build on. There was absolutely nothing identifying the land as FF. "It was close" just doesn't cut it. It's a pretty worthless outpost to BP anyway, and I'm sure Game would have given you permission to tear it down. But when you're determined to make your own rules rather than discuss amendments to the existing ones, you get exactly what is coming to you.

No. It's stemmed from a border dispute between cities.

I have no idea what any of those places are. Should be pretty cool to see though, I've heard a lot about the Torhemn Map.

Nova Scotia please! I can't remember how you get there though. I think you head East from somewhere for about half an hour...

Alright guys, any discussion of server rules needs to go on in the separate forum for now. Too many people complaining.

Yeah kinda, a resident of a city is allowed to have one single locked chest in their home, although you could use that for your shop instead. Check with Bone first though.

Edit: Damn, that was a bit jumbled around.

You should put that map in the dropbox. If you have a dropbox, send me your info and I can add you to mine so that you can add stuff to the maps folder. I have a feeling that someday.... we might return to Aldgate proper.....

I have no idea how to find my Dropbox info, (I don't even remember if I set any up or not), but if I figure it out, I will gladly do that for you.

I plan to restore the buildings to their former glory in my series, so perhaps it would be better to use a later version of the map that I will develop then the current ripped apart one? Hopefully I can undo most of the griefing damage that has been done.

I am debating whether to use To Many Items for the job. I think it would be fair, since mods handed out items for some buildings in the first place.

Just load it up as a creative mode map.

Turns out TMI actually lets me switch between modes. I'll start the reconstruction process tonight and record it as I go along.
