True, but I was thinking yesterday that DLC might be Solstheim. It's a lot smaller than Skyrim and other places so it would take less time to make for DLC, and considering were only about 6 months from release... I think it's rather possible. People asking for Morrowind and other places, I don't think realize how long it would actually take to make these places. A lot of Dunmer ended up there & possibly preserving there culture, and Nords have always wanted it... and with BS being very strong on the Nord culture in this game... it wouldn't surprise me to have DLC there. A lot of people loved Morrowind for it's unique setting... perhaps Solstheim is a small way to give them that back.

Though I don't really care for new land, as the excitement will wear off rather quickly... more time developing and expanding Skyrim would give me more enjoyment.
Yeah,And alot has happened since the time of morrowind :P

oh god I hope we don't go back to solstheim. if anything I hope it's morrowind
Soltsheim was the best thing that ever happened to Morrowind. It's the most likable place on there. Anyway I rather see an expansion on location we haven't seen before such like Roscrea.

Yeah maybe,And alot has happened in solstheim since the bloodmoon expansion

especially seeing as a lot of dark elves fled to there after red mountain exploded so there will likely be quite a few towns/cities.

I don't know but one handed sounds quite bad. They should be two handed, slow and highly effective.

I think that the bow should be two haned , slow , but when hits kills the target , i think crossbows should be one handed , Fast fire rate , but dont hit so much as bows , and also why do you think they should be slow , i mean crossbows , and two handed?

Might just be left over files from trying to make crossbows work, but they couldnt for whatever reason and didnt clean their folders properly. Which is something Bethesda would do, theyre pretty messy when it comes to folder structure and missing files(just look at the High Res DLC).

So, this could all be one big mistake and there will never be crossbows or anything to do with the Snow Prince. Just sayin' ;)

It just about realism and history. Bows are far faster to reload than crossbows. Also crossbows have greater power which makes them to pierce armors better than bows which is reason why they should be more effective. One handed crossbow is something which is not possible. Crossbows are impossible to reload with one hand and also very hard to aim with one hand (balancing their weight to make one handed aiming possible is hard). I also think we should rather have those larger earlier medieval crossbows with straight reload than late medieval crossbows with mechanical reload system (those mechanical ones still needs two hand for reloading but less strength for it). I think only Dwarven ones should have mechanical reload system (Dwemer may even have Cho Ko Knu like crossbows which are slow to reload but can shoot a few arrows repeating but with lower accurate). I have to note that even some light crossbows are possible to use with one hand they have lower accurate in that way and are impossible to reload with only one hand.

I was just thinking that Bethesda might do something like they did with Operation Anchorage for Fallout. The Prince referenced in the files, is the the real Prince and you somehow go back or look back in time.

Do you guys think that with the dlc we'll get a level cap boost? I mean with the new weapons we might be getting they could possibly get new skill trees or fit spears into 2handed and as a 1hd/dual wield guy I'd like a few more points to drop into 2hd instead of starting a whole new guy and go through all that stuff again just for dlc. If they do that it could hopefully mean stronger creatures too. They'll never do it a skill respec merchant or something of the sort would be sweet especially if they do the vamp/werewolf skill tress too.

Already been mentioned but, I'd really like something along the lines of being able to invest in things like rebuilding Wintehold, Riften community improvements, fixing up run down forts, etc. or even starting my own community in one of the many empty areas of Skyrim.

I remember one game ... though not the name of it ... back in Sega Genesis days where after you'd cleared an abandoned castle, or some such thing, every time you went back there would be new improvements that had been made. I liked that.

Need something to do with all my money.

Also more special weapons/armor etc. that have some quality which makes them better than anything you can make yourself.

I find there are too many "special" weapons/armor in Skyrim that by the time you find them are inferior to what you've already bought or made for yourself.

I'd prefer really "special" items over just gathering often useless ... by the time you find them ... "artifacts" solely to get a pointless "achievement" for finding them all.

Pesonally I find the whole "achievement" thing ... at least on XBox ... idiotic for this type of game but, I'm probably just out of step with the times.

Agree with you on achievements as well I'm on 360 and find them dumb for Elder scrolls.

In Morrowind you could have your compound built too.

Thought I had less than $10 on me (Assuming the DLC will be $9.99 US) but I have way more than that! I am a happy camper right now! :D

Spoiler

Tsun is at the end of the main quest.
Herma-Mora and Mauloch are just names for Hermaeus Mora and Malacath, both of whom have quests.
Ysmir is, according to the Greybeards, the player character.

Spoiler
It's presumed that a lot of the nordic totem animal things actually symbolize gods: http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1340432-matching-up-the-totems/

Sorta like the (spoiler, sorry still new, I don't know how to create a spoiler yet) Varmina Daedric quest, where you enter the body of the dark elf to view what happened during the Orc invasion of the temple!

Crossbows are already ingame, Dwarven Sphere http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Dwarven_Sphere#Dwarven_Sphere . So there are already some animations . Crossbows could be interesting if they would come with effects like ingnore armor .
