Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 12:17 am

let's get on topic before they lock this thing..
You said, "us werewolves", so you believe yourself a werewolf?
taking the roleplay to the forums is rather popular these days, oh, let me introduce myself, I'm Markus Liberty, leader of The order of the Lily, defendersof house Dibella :bunny:
didn't not contribute much to keep this on topic did i :(

I take pride in the accompishments.

You said, "us werewolves", so you believe yourself a werewolf?

Also, http://www.mascotdesign.com/_dev/images/famous-cartoon-character-mickey-mouse.png and http://media.bestofmicro.com/Skyrim-performance-Benchmark,7-X-315213-13.jpg are different. The word "character" would be a fine substitute for "toon", which makes it sound like we are playing My Little Pony.

On topic: Anyone up for a Hunting Grounds DLC?

If I could be a werewolf I would be a werewolf which is why I'm such a fanatic about werewolves in Skyrim. As for the cartoon argument, Skyrim is basically an advlt cartoom.
http://media.psu.com/media/articles/image/DraugrSwarm.jpg and then there's http://www.kekkai.org/google/cs/img/heavy-metal-2000-6.png so my argument still stands, you just don't like it because it's become kind of a common term these days.

I would love to visit the Hunting grounds, but the chances of Beth redoing it are slim.

And more likehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvTgLTrTfqE
On topic: Yes I am up for that, I have wanted this type of DLC for a long time.

I feel like he was being serious, but then trolled about it, I don't know he was a mystery, but made no sense at all.
yeah he would just bring things up we weren't even talking about.

Well Blood moon was Hircine related and I have my doubts that they will do another Hircine related DLC. I was distracted by the kiddies and posted it before I could elaborate, now I gotta give the dog a wash :swear:

Bloodmone is one of those remote expansions for a game many considered different and a little of the mainstream, so i'm sure 90 percent of all fans have never played it. its actually the only elder scrolls relited content i myself have never played, and that comes from a guy who owns two compys of Redguard

What Bethesda needs to do, is an expansion that is set on Solstheim, and somewhere on the island, maybe Skaal village, there is a portal to Hircine's Realm. With this they could add in regular werewolves, and werebears.

That's a pretty good idea, but how would you get there from Skyrim? A boat ride maybe ?

Probably, that is how they did it in Morrowind, don't see why they can't do it again.

I know, I've seen you in the fanfiction section with the others. Your into romance like Phenix, too?

On topic: Hunting Grounds would be amazing.

Revising Skaal village would be pretty cool, but it would be Bloodmoon II. Just a visit to Hircine's realm would suffice enough . . .with spears. In actual lore, the werebears in his realm, some of them anyways, are Nords with blue tattoos and spears! To see this ingame would be a welcome nod at the Infernal City book. I hope to see Skjor there too, like how we see Kodlak in Sovngarde.

If we had Hircine's realm, we could have all the known Lycanthropes. Technically, nothing's stopping people with the afflictions from traversing throughout Tamriel, so a wereshark or werevulture in Skyrim isn't lore-breaking (in fact, a book mentions that the werevulutres are beginning to show up in Cyrodiil), they just aren't very common in areas the diseases aren't native to.

It wouldn't need to be Bloodmoon II, I was just saying the portal to his realm could be in Skaal village. They could do anything with Solstheim as far as a story goes, but Hircine's realm would be the main thing.

Go hang out with Hircine, do a little hunting and come back with a spear for a souvenir

Perhaps a ferry from Windhelm.

If memory serves me right there where weresharks protecting the sea, werebears protecting the woods, werevultures watching from above and werewolves leading the hunt but I cannot for life of me remember what the werecrocks did.

edit : Hi Freddo care to join in the werecreature expansion discussion ?

Probably, unless Bethesda decides to make it so that we only go into the areas of his realm that have those two werecreatures.

There are creatures like special type of gazelles and cattle. I am sure there are other creatures like a weredaedroth, etc.

No confirmation on weresharks/werevultures/werelions/wereboars/werecrocodiles in the Hunting Grounds. But we can be sure some of them exist. Werevultures exist in lore and have been a menace in Valenwood.

A safe bet is that they will do it that way.

I could have sworn that I read that in an in-game book but I could be wrong.

Not in the Hunting Grounds, but in Nirn. I think the book you mean is "On Lycanthropy."

If Bethesda made a DLC in Hircine's realm, I would rather them focus on werebears and werewolf improvements, any more lycanthropes would likely overwhelm them. Also a lot of the creatures there are mainly super-sized animals that we find on Nirn, like bears and wolves.

Hunting werehyena  But I could have sworn that there was a book in-game that described the role of each were-creature played in the Hunting grounds, but I could be mistaken as well.
