Bulletstorm. I like Two Worlds more than that game.

Ah then you'd probably be interested in Prey.

Hunted is considered underrated too right?

For me, unless I play the game at least around 40 hours then it was not worth 60 dollars. 60 dollars people. That is alot of money if you end up buying something you don't enjoy enough.

EDIT: I changed it to 40 hours. I am pretty stingy about games I guess.

Divinty 2 Ego Draconis (Worst Game ever)

I played the demo, it had potential. I wanted to like it but [censored] it was bad.

Only good thing was the music.

Fallout 3

I read the forums
Read the reviews

Everything that was said about the game indicated that it was a great game that improved vastly upon Oblivion's mechanics and that it had a great story.

Not the case

What I found was an incredibly imbalanced game, with a terrible story, and terrible 2 dimensional characters that had a few lines of personality and that was it. The Pitt, however, was a great DLC and I wish that they had made the whole game more akin to that.

I've since sold the game and have felt pretty good about at least getting some of my money back.

Edit: I sold the DLC and traded the Collectors edition on switch games for DA:O which IMO was a great trade.

That's what New Vegas is for my friend, bringing the Fallout back to Fallout :goodjob:

Lord of the Rings Conquest - Bought it at full price on release purely because it was a Lord of the Rings game and because almost all other Lord of the Rings games had been surprisingly good up until that point. Turned out to be one of the most disappointing games i've ever played.

Starcraft II - Bought into all the hype, found it to be very mediocre as far as strategy games go. Definitely should've done more research before purchasing.

Probably Mirror's Edge. The game is great and I absolutely love it, but it tooooootally wasnt worth $60. Maybe $30 or $35. I still play it when I get bored sometimes, thought I wish I waited until the price collapsed a lot more rather than paying the full price.

Marvel vs Capcom 3. I bought it first day, limited edition. If I would've known the game was going to be half finished, I would have waited.

At least the Shuma-Gorath shirt was nice. :meh:

I thought M v C 3 was pretty good, although I'm new to the series so I can't compare it with previous instalments. I wish it had more content though, defiantly needs more characters.

On topic: Modern Warfare 2, the online was too overpowered and reminded me of Counterstrike except without the balancing (and the hacks to an extent :P) also the single player couldn't hold a candle to what modern warfare 1 single player was

two worlds is the only thing I can remember at this point. Oh boy, did that game make me research the hell out of every game I buy now, and to NEVER listen to a single word a GameStop employee has to say.

What pissed me off the most is that instead of watching the others fight in a lobby, you get to, as my friend put it "watch two cards butt-[censored] for five minutes or more while you wait for your turn." Even after that, you had to wait a month and pay ten bucks for two characters that were already on the disc. The story was really barebones too. Rather than have the fully voiced and animated character intros and endings seen in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9R-HvhcS44s&feature=related, you get http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhed6DHh-Sw Plus, most of the music was godawful, there's STILL no replays or a replay channel (to my knowledge), and the online play was unbearable due to lag and connection issues. And don't even get me strarted on Simple Mode. [censored] dumbest design choice ever...

Capcom had something great with SFIV, and they [censored] it up with MvC3.

Wow... I think we have a winner. What confuses me is how it sold enough so that we saw blood on the sand.

50Cent has a fan base that will buy whatever says too. But actually Blood On The Sand was a decent game from what I played of it.

Recently Gothic 4:Arcania

did very little research on it
was fascinated with the Gothic series and thought G4A would be a good start
I love Fantasy RPGs
really realized the game svcked once I reached the second region
nope, is still there to this day, made it pretty far too, but I just can't be bothered to finish it

Arcania is probably one of the worst game's I've ever played. Is is a Superman 64? no, is it an ET? no, is it a Deadly Premonition? no

in my mind it's worse.
not because of bugginess or shoddy production, but because it's so, utterly, effortlessly dry and bare-minimum.
remember in High School when a teacher would chastise some student for doing the bare-minimum and not applying himself?
well the team that did Gothic 4 is comprised entirely of those flakes and floaters.
at its best, it's painfully boring
at its worst it's abysmally, obnoxiously, tedious and sluggish.

this game is like buying the worst, most lead-filled un-satisfying junk-food you can find at a seven eleven. The kind that's flavorless and filled with hundreds of the stuff to make it seem like a valuable purchase.

and you're going to say, but wasn't Superman, ET and DP also effortless?
yes, but at least those have a morbid charm about them
Arcania is just plain dull and cold
a better anology now that I think about it is it's like eating Hard Tac,
you know, the "bread" from the civil war?

Dragon Age II

By Far.

I was swept up in the hype and I was a really big fan of the first installment, so I didn't think twice when I pre-ordered it as soon as it was announced.

"What can they possibly do to [censored] this up?" I said....

hahahaahahahahahaha.... sigh :sadvaultboy: :cryvaultboy:
