1,000 Hours

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 7:11 am

I have logged around 20.000 hours
Though i'm not sure i can prove it

...erm...

20 hours ain't all that impressive. It doesn't matter how many zeros you put after that decimal point, my friend, it's still 20.

There is no point in being ashamed of doing something you like or you have pleasure doing.

The point in being ashamed of oneself is to encourage one to behave better. Unless you think having personal pleasure is always the best thing one can do, there are times when one should be ashamed of doing that rather than the better thing. Here is an example where I feel you might agree shame would be appropriate:

"Why didn't you feed your children for two days?"
"I am not ashamed. I was having pleasure playing Skyrim."

I'm sitting at approximately 300 hours between my 2 characters. I took a 4 months hiatus from the game, and have been playing Tales of Graces ?, so my time is definitely not as great as most.

Must be around 400-500 hours but never finished the game because of my oh so many restarts....well I restarted again today (lol I once again played on a 65 h. save file from two weeks). Now I'm not going to fast travel so that will add up a lot of hours. For those who are interested: I'm going to give the good guy dragonborn another chance...well I just won't join the thieves guild and dark broterhood and I will not steal anything or murder any good persons. Oh and I also will do some quests for deadric lords but that's just because I love my former self (sheo)

I play on Novice  But I really really svck at games. Imagine you let an old person, or a 5 year old play, then imagine... worse. That's me. Still 500+ hours in. I roleplay.

I'm the same  although after all the hours i've spent i'm powerful enough to play master :bunny:

I don't understand.

Is this, like, a way of claiming bragging rights of some kind?

Hey Granite  don't be a grumpy old buddy

I've seen people claim that they have played for over 4000 hours.
The game has been out 215 days, 5160 hours. So I think 4000 is humanly impossible ha.

1000 hours?! 1/5 of your time in the past 7 months has been playing skyrim? That's mental.

Goodness!
I applied for the Dawnguard Beta (sadly didn't get it) and that was the first time I added up the hours - 261 but I've played a bit more since then. The few people I've told thought THAT was a lot haha! 112hrs on my main character, 80 something on my first character (my second character became my main) and then that little bit extra divided up between three other characters. Curious to know how many characters you have if you've logged that much time? :)

Do you even own the game? You haven't experienced much if you haven't even played 120 hours.

92 hours. No questlines complete. Haven't played at all in 2012.

What exactly am I supposed to experience in the next 30 hours that should draw me back in?

Most spanish countries swap commas and decimals. So they'd write, for example, Four thousand and four tenths as 4.000,4.

Somebody didn't pass high-school spanish...Assuming that's what they mean by 20.000, anyway.

Are you crazy? Do you play on easy and fast travel every where? I bet you do lol.

Considering that I actually have a job I don't really want to spend my spare gaming time running to content. All you did with this post was make yourself look pretentious.

Well from the way you typed that it sounds like your wearing a monocle! xD. He just meant that some players take longer to do things than others.

1,000 hours??? I've played like over 100 hours and I've done more or less everything there is to, all guilds, all Barenziah stones, main quest, all side quests, all shouts. I mean what could you be possibly be doing, picking up everyone nirnroot and butterfly in the game?

I do, It's why it's so hard to know how much time i've logged. at the moment it would say something like 130, but i've deleted over 10 characters ranging from a few hours to a few dozen. I only ever keep the first 2 I created. level 41 nord, level 49 orc.

I have played Skyrim for over 100 hours, and I am not proud of myself for doing so.

I would be disgusted with myself for playing 1,000 hours.

Over 100 is nothing for skyrim. Why would you not be proud of yourself for enjoying a game? Are you embarrassed?

I've seen people claim that they have played for over 4000 hours.

People who don't have time for house work hire a housekeeper. People who don't have time for yard work hire a gardener. People who don' t have 4000 hours to play Skyrim hire a team of gamers to play it for them.

When I reached 1000 hours I calculated I'd been playing 8 hrs a day since realease. I must have slowed down because 1400 hours means I've been playing 6 1/2 hours a day.

4,000...8,000...20,000? People that post that are full of Skeever dung. Hell the game has only been out for about 5,000. That means at 4K you spend 20 hrs a day playing Skyrim. As far as 8k and 20K...

I have put in between 1200 and 1400 and I have no life.
