I wouldent say you "winners" sure you get the dlc for free, but its not supposed to be that you're ment to help the dlc be the best it can be before release.
EDIT: wouldent

Well either case, my question still stands.

lets be honest alot of people are going to bend the truth to get the beta, so we may as well join in if were going to have any chance of getting the beta.

What is this... I don't even....

Yeah, I've never been one to have make a full-fledged vampire character, I mean I've dabbled with it a little bit but never anything more. I'm glad they're making perk trees for Vampirism and Lycanthropy now, that ought to make it more fleshed out.

I'm so honest that I didn't even apply because I'm 7 months away from being 18 (you had to be 18 to apply according to the terms of agreement)!

Karma will reward me greatly.

I'm new here, but did they come out and say "only people who live and breathe this game get beta invites"? I just got the game about 2 months ago, but I play for several hours a day, so I have two characters, level 63 (86 hours) and 54 (45 hours). Why would anyone put in anything other than what they honestly play to get a beta invite?

Maybe they should have made people give them their XBL name so they can see if they play and what achievements that they have?

Sorry if this was already asked, but would I have to re-apply for the beta if I made a forum account after the first sign up?

beta? Oh right. I'll be off playing mods on my pc version.
Nobody cares..

This beta is really starting to rip up the forums. I wonder how they'll look once the applicants have got their accepted/denied emails.

The new members who joined just to try to get in on the BETA will probably just fade into obscurity if they don't get picked.

It's how it works when most game Forums do something like this. Flood of activity for a short while, then when the new people don't get picked, they get all butt-hurt and delete their accounts or just quit posting.

I've seen it time and again.

Unless Dawnguard adds a ton of new content I don't think its going to be that big of a deal. There are some amazing mods, like http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=9782, out that I'm still just starting to play around in. Then when you include upcoming stuff like http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/671949-trailerwip-falskaar-a-new-lands-mod/ and http://www.darkcreations.org/forums/topic/1747-issgard/? Even if Dawnguard is a few months away, there are plenty of great stuff out now and more coming.

I applied for the Dawnguard beta, (hell yeah.) and I just want to know when exactly I should really look in my email to see if I was accepted or not? Are there any exact dates or is it a general timeframe?

I tried to sign up even used the email that I have for my account here but it doesnt wanna go through its weird

I signed in on forums all my info is correct but evertyime I try to confirm for beta test on the first name, last name, email page it just resets everytime I hit next and say 0 complete bunch of crap either Im doing it wrong (putting in email wrong way) or they just hate me lol ah well back to dragons dogma the least buggiest out of the gate game Ive ever played (no bugs from day 1 release only trouble was understanding the save system.....

anyway if someone can tell me what the hell Im doing wrong whether i gotta include my forum name (LastAyleidking) in paranthesis or what all I know is when I play any game like this I explore everyplace, everyside quest, etc etc before I start main quest or a few side quests per main quest dpending anyway regardless I at least want to sign up whether or not im picked

Im on Xbox, and i cant imagine why anyone would choose to beta-test. When i play Dawnguard for the first time i want to focus on playing the game, not bug-testing. They are not one and the same.
Yes, but you get the actual DLC for free when it comes out.
