I hope they disqualify anyone who has flamed or been svcked into flaming in one of the Dawnstar Beta threads of the past few days.

Also, anyone who has used the word "awesome" in any of their "signed up for the beta" posts.

Just my thoughts on the matter.

In term of numbers you'd want a broad sample of the Skyrim population on Xbox, hence the many variables we have at the sign-up form. I can't get my head away from social research when thinking of this so i'll stop and say they would go for 200-1000 testers. Sales were very high for Skyrim so this number, to me, doesn't seem outrageous.

Dawnguard is supposed to be very high-level content per Gameinformer, so I don't think anyone with new characters could get in. Mine are close to twenty, but I don't know if that'll count for much.

Gameinformer says only characters past the extremely exclusive threshold of level 10 were recommended.

The sign-up survey probably acts as a preliminary screening. I'd assume that they'll want a wide variety of players with different styles, progress, equipment, etc. After that, it's reasonable to assume that the selection would be randomized.

Gameinformer says only characters past the extremely exclusive threshold of level 10 were recommended.

lol

It might actually be challenging, who knows? For me, my enchanted Daedric set of armor and weps makes me an unstoppable tank. But if I go for light armor and don't use my uber weapons, some enemies can be quite lethal. So, so long as you don't intentionally uber your character, the difficulty should be fine.

There was a light glare over that recommended level. We don't know for sure.

That was just one scan. More than one person reads gameinformer.

I would think they need a large variety to have a good test group. What I want to know is if they will ask that you go through with a specific character.

With out those people testing for bugs, YOU will end up with a very bugy game. Appreciate that some of us have a shared responsibility to our fellow gaming friends.

I did not mean any disrespect. I really do appreciate it, believe me. I simply expressed my own opinion on the matter.

I don't know what they using to choose the BETA testers, so when they only gave me the option for 3 Characters i tried to choose the most variety i could, High-elf Mage, Stealthy Khajit Vampire, S&S Redguard Werewolf... so hoperfull i hit the "mark" with one of them.

SO, I signed up for the Dawnguard Beta. One thing that I was confused about was the character selection. Was it characters you HAVE HAD or just characters you currently have. Because what happens to me is I get around level 40 or so, finish the big quests (Guilds, Main, CIvil War, basically all the named quests), explore until my map looks like something out of a where's waldo book, and then delete it. So do you think they will choose people based on their current character, or experience within the game?

Well its appantly for Higher Level Players -lvl 10 according to some-
and they wil probably try to find a variety of different races/levels/play styles so they can check for bugs across all varieties...

So i'd say with characters they have rather than experience

This...

And creating a thread like this does not help your chances. In fact, it would make one question the intent.

lets be honest alot of people are going to bend the truth to get the beta, so we may as well join in if were going to have any chance of getting the beta.

Just wing it... When i signed up for the CS:GO beta.. I do not remember what I put..it was truthful but i have no idea.. it was so long ago.. I actually forgot I signed up.. went to sign up again.. logged in through steam and pressed the sign up beta.. three hours later i get a gift from steam... Those things are probably based of blind luck and key words..
