I really wonder when we will. Plus, how many players will be selected?

Stop.

Well its kind of a ridiculous thread seeing as the moment you finished the form,
and in the original post that announced it, they specifically told us when they would reveal this stuff.

People need to read. They said next week.

The question of how many people would be selected is still valid.

He didn't know that though. And no one else knows that unless they saw the first thread that Gstaff made.

There is nothing wrong with constructive information about a simple question.

For a second I believed your first post then I seen the one below that.

Wait, what's going on with these beta keys? How do you become eligible to get one? I kinda blacked out of Skyrim until I heard something about DLC. Here it is and I want answers!

I highly doubt the people with low tear 360's would get the pass as i also doubt people with the best stuff ever would too

also any one else notice you couldnt select a 160 gig hardrive on that 1 question (i had to select 250 gig hardrive because mine larger than 120 gigs .-.)

also some poeple have questioned how they will stop people posting spoilers

ima say that since i think was requirment you have an account of bethesda forums (here) that if you post spoilers you will get banned and be booted from the beta as well but at same time how will they stop people posting spoilers over on Gamefaqs or other gaming forum ?

I'd expect them to choose folks with a variety of hardware. After all, the purpose is to see how the game runs on the mix of equipment that players use. I'd also imagine that posts in the xbox support forums would provide a pretty good gauge of players' ability and willingness to anolyze/work through problems.

it's probably going to be a random sample but why do people think this is a contest is and winning is a reward i personally think it's a burden you have to go through and play one of the bugiest dlc's ever and you have to report them and alot of people on these forums seem like there not going to do that and that scares me a little

Im on Xbox, and i cant imagine why anyone would choose to beta-test. When i play Dawnguard for the first time i want to focus on playing the game, not bug-testing. They are not one and the same.

With out those people testing for bugs, YOU will end up with a very bugy game. Appreciate that some of us have a shared responsibility to our fellow gaming friends.

I guess they'll stop people posting spoilers by loyalty or fear... they hope people simply won't do as they are being given the DLC early and free..
But if like me you actually read the terms and conditions they sound rather sinister -well all T&Cs do- , it is essentially you have sold your soul to bethesda, if you do not do as we tell you we can sue you, and you will pay for us to sue you. Now i'm sure they probably won't enforce the heavier part of it unless of huge breaches, but you are pretty much there thrall if you are chosen to be a BETA tester...

Entirely worth it though.. :D

I've got a feeling they will just pick all types of players with all different tiers of xbox so they get a range of different opinions and see where most problems lie.
It will probably completely random, fingers crossed they pick the majority of us who signed up :)

Just signed up. Keeping my fingers crossed. I'm really glad I made one bad-ass vampire character some time ago, which is now lvl 27.

They can't stop you from posting spoilers on other forums, unfortunately. There's just nothing they can do, unless you use the same name / have your GT linked, or something like that. Hopefully though, everyone who gets picked has the decency to let the rest of us see it for ourselves.
Yes they can. They can sue you.
I just Applied. I also think that they will choose a large number of people and maybe even want people to spread the word about what the DLC is like. Anyway, I would be sooo pumped to get it.
No. The terms and agreement section of the form we filled out was an NDA. A Non Disclosure Agreement. If we show our friends or post any spoilers anywhere on the internet we are liable to be sued. Do not show anyone the beta and do not talk about it.

Without the people who are actually testing the DLC it would come out as buggy as Fallout New Vegas for everyone else. We will report bugs and clean up the DLC.
