This. I hate when people try to force their opinion on me and try to pass it off as a fact. OP, you think Skyrim svcks. That's an opinion, because the majority of people I know love the game. I love the game, I love it more than any other Bethesda game (and yes, I've played many other Bethesda games). If you don't like it, don't play it, and don't come here trying to convince us that it "svcks".

"X svcks" is an opinion. It's completely subjective. So, I'm not really sure why "people need to know" your opinion. Not a flame, just pointing out there is a big difference between subjective and objective statements- a difference far too many people seem to not understand these days.

But anyway that is your opinion, I absolutely love it (I like it more than Oblivion, undecided about Morrowind vs Skyrim, still have a lot more playing to do).

Interesting though that you say you have seen so many dragons and they had lost their shine in the first five hours. I am curious as to how you have been playing, as others comment after many more hours than that they rarely see dragons. In my first five hours I had seen practically none other than the village scene. But I wasn't fast traveling, I was wandering around the wilderness on foot exploring. I didn't start on the main quest till well after five hours.

Guess what? I'm loving it.

Good thing you don't criticize games easily and were just sharing you honest opinion and weren't on a crusader to educate the masses about a game that has been out for over a month now.

Skyrim is fun, quality just like Oblivion. Visually Skyrim is far above Oblivion. Minor graphic issues but that will be fixed very soon or it may even be the latest drivers I'm using. I think a lot gamers who are familiar with the previous games will find Skyrim easy to play.

I for example ever since the days of Oblivion never jump right into the main quest from the beginning. I always do side missions to built up and level up to Level 30 minimum to play the main quests.

I'm level 25.5 as of 9 December 2011 and I only play Skyrim on Tuesdays Fridays and Saturdays.

Gaming forums after a new release are often this way though. Give it a few weeks and it tends to fade.

Edit:Just had a random thought. I've played some crap games in the last 20+ years and in all honesty the last thing I would do is waste time in that games forum moaning how crap it was. In saying is there a a forum for ET on the 2600?

Mixed bag. Some aspects of it are absolutely not up to snuff (too short quest line, overly streamlined character creation, missing options that gimp role playing). Others are great (wide open world, great atmosphere, better combat, etc.). Two steps forward, three steps sideways, two steps back ... you're not really back where you started but you haven't really moved ahead either.

For all of that it's fun and even "vanilla" is IMHO worth $60. I have set it aside waiting for the CK. I'll get much more than my money's worth after I mod the heck out of it.

Well, in my opinion this game is flawed yes, but with the proper fixes can become an epic rpg, i don't know what other ppl will do, but i will bet in the sucess of this game in a long term.

Anyone who's conclusion is "X svcks" doesn't deserve much respect. They're just whining on a fan forum. Kind of pointless, wouldn't you agree?

If you want to be helpful make a list of things that could be improved. Such as. . .

-Bandit AI
-Quest choice
-Main Guild quest length
-Lack of Vampire content

and that kind of thing. Make your voice heard on what you want to see improved.

I've already gotten in trouble for being a jerk on threads like these so I'm going to calmly respond with a question.

What is the purpose of this thread? It isn't to start a discussion. It isn't to discuss how to fix the game. Why is it that so many posters here feel that people care about their personal experiences? You didn't like it. We get it. Couldn't you find any of the existing threads to actually discuss the aspects of the game you disliked? Why start thread after thread?

Whatever. I couldn't care less if the rest of the world hated the game. I loved it. That's all I care about.

After 100 hours with Skyrim I can say that Oblivion crushes Skyrim. It is still a fantastic game but I can't help being disappointed.

Bummer for you that you don't enjoy it. While it's certainly not perfect (what is?), I'm having more fun playing Skyrim than I have with just about any other game I've played (including other TES/Bethesda games).
