A call to the wolfpack #2

Killing a dragon as a werewolf is quite the feat and a hard goal to reach. Anyone that does this should be rewarded with a cool kill animation and the bloodmoon should be temporarily shown.

That's my goal  it's sad that I cannot take pics of it to show off the kill once it's made( console player so no screen shots  ). It's a little bet that me and the bro. got going, see who can bag a Ancient dragon on master difficulty first. His boxer build Vs my werewolf. LMFAO. Not even a challenge, I've come close on soooOOOooo many occasions. Just gotta get my spells right and timed right just before I engage a dragon, then game on :gun:

That's a good time to be a wolf, while in the lower Lv.'s. In beast form you should out match just about all NPC's that stand in your path, go after the lord stone before you venture after the sword. That way you have +50 armor and +25% magic resistance while your a werewolf.
Happy hunting

I just had a ferocious hunt! I was sprinting through the tundra, killing deer, elk, the usual prey, when I spotted a Stormcloak prisoner being escorted by a group of Imperials. Good hunting! I pounced on one of them, pushing him to the ground, mauling him. They didn't even know what had happened! The second Imperial was dead in seconds. The third? He was pushed down and had his throat ripped out! The last of the hunted fled into the tundra, begging for his life as I lifted him from the ground, biting into his head with Masser in full view infront of us. The situation was thrilling! Just thought I'd share that with my moon brothers.
I salute you, brother. For Lord Hircine ! Today I went giant hunting in wolf form. It took a bit of good timing. The first had to be a spring attack or they would stomp me to death. With my recently aquired stealth skills, I transformed about 20 feet away from the giant, right behind his back. Immediately I used my explosive power to advance towards the giant and catch him unguarded. The giant was surprised indeed. He was unaware of me even when I landed my first hit and he lost his composure. With a hard thud he collapsed to the ground, belly up. I jumped right on top of him and clawed open his stomach, sending his intestines flying. It was a fountain of meat and blood. Hircine was pleased...

Ah, what glory. Long live the pack!

I have my best character! Made him few days ago.

Name: Jay-Cub Balack.

Race: Imperial.

http://images2.fanpop.com/image/photos/9100000/Jacob-Black-fan-art-taycob-9178164-300-374.jpgHe looks fourteen maybe fifteen, and has long, glossy black hair pulled back with a rubber band at the nape of his neck. His skin is beautiful, silky and russet-colored; his eyes are dark, set deep above the high planes of his cheekbones. He still had just a hint of childish roundness left around his chin. Altogether, a very pretty face. Walks around shirtless to expose his muscles and abs.

Werewolf: Turns into a large wolf, but runs on all four.

Bio: Jay-Cub grew in a tribe of Lycanthropes near a beach on Valenwood called "La Pull" by the Bosmer. They had made a treaty with the Yekef vampire clan so they wouldnt hunt in their lands. Jay-Cub grew up and became a werewolf and fell in love with a human girl called Isbella from High Rock. He got into trouble with a vampire from the Yekef clan who also had fallen in love with the woman. In the end, Hircine granted Jay-Cub an amulet of Mara so he could use to marry Isbella and move to Skyrim!

In Skyrim, he joined the Companions and beat Kodlak, becoming Harbinger of the Circle. He renamed the "Circle his own family called Quileute of Skyrim! Jay-Cub and Isbella began their adventure to fight Alduin using dragonshouts. He taught her how to turn into a wolf anytime. There was no full moon tranformation, because they could transform anytime they want to. Jay-Cob saved the world in the end, turning people into werewolfs.

:lmao: We are in fact in need of a tutu wearing wolfboy. Welcome to the pack, Jay-cub. For Hircine !

Is the Howl of fear Totem affected by any of the illusion perks that increase the fear spell power, or are they unaffected because it is a power an not a spell?

I'm on my way of testing that. I'm also curious whether when getting the 'Master of the Mind' perk, the howl of terror will also work on undead and automatons.

If it does, werwolves will be set.

I don't mean to be a party pooper, but I think we all have the same back story for being a werewolf =)

I kinda intrigued by the new perk tree though. I may even start using my beast form. Right now I find it pretty useless.

I became a werewolf to look cool and instill fear among those who dare face me. And Dragon Priests.

Well, hopefully, we'll be getting WILD werewolves in Falkreath and The Rift.

To each his own. My werewolf characters believe that when a person struggles and they are strong enough to overcome it, they deserve to be honored. If you help everyone who needs help, you simply weaken them and yourself, and rob them of a chance of surviving. But that's my two cents.

I'll say it plainly. Alteration is your best friend. From the mage armor perks for more bang for your buck to Stability and Dual Casting to make the majority of your flesh spells last a whopping three minutes to increased resistance and even absorbtion of spells. The Avoid Death perk of the restoration tree while expensive (three perks and 90 in the skill) can do just what it says, healing you 250 points once a day when your health drops below 10%.
Racial Abilities can also play a role. Argonian Wolves have an unbeleivable health regen. Orc's make excellent front line berserkers. Imperials use the Voice of the Emporer to pacify a croud before changing. Nord can buy enough breathing space to change with their battle cry. And Bretons, especialy those who visit the Atronach Stone, make mages wet themselves. (100% spell absorbtion for 60 seconds is not to be sneazed at!)

As for spells, all flesh spells are a must. Dragon Hide, if you can afford to cast it, grants a flat 80% damage resistance. And Guardian Circle affords you a zone of healing to either double back to or stand your ground.

Hope this helps. Now if you'll pardon me my wolf Fenris needs to head to the tavern to get the blood off his loincloth and wash the taste of ice troll from his mouth with a flagon of Honningbrew Mead.

All perks and all active effects affect you as a werewolf. It just may be difficult to notice since we don't go about firing arrows and brewing potions as beasts, but this is how many of us discovered the "stealth werewolf," as Sneak perks that keep you silent not only work while standing, but work in beast form. As ExaltedPariah outlined above me, there are many spell effects that do you a lot of good as a werewolf, most of them limited in time. Effects from clothing, while semi-permanent, obviously don't carry over since you rip those off upon transforming, but effects from standing stones and quest rewards are very helpful.

I was fooling around with the Jay-Cub thing. There is no way you guys thought I was serious, did you? Hahah.

I did. I had no idea how to respond to it, so I just waited until the thread moved forward. How about you tell us your real story now?

A righteous werewolf? Hircine would be displeased.

My werewolf is a Nord paladin. Hircine outlined to me himself that the hunt is not a matter of good or evil, and that he cares nothing for alignment.
