Dawnguard and Future DLC Discussion - Thread #30

Post » Thu Jun 14, 2012 3:02 am

As long as there is a good variety of new or even just revamped weapons and armor I will be happy.

Also I know there is going to be a new area unlocked but how big is it going to be and if it is as big as I think it may end up being how much memory will it take up on my PS3?

They said it's going to open up a new area?

Jumping? Your too funny. There isn't even a reason to jump higher than you already can in the game. Now if there were new attack animations where you could drop down or leap at somebody and attack at the same time then there would be a reason for it.

no its a decent idea tbh,you could use this no found jumping ability to get a vantage point on dragons via jumping on roofs or even against enemies.its a good idea tbh.

edit;yes i can see where others are saying it was limited for a reason and so i suppose maybe its not possible to add i guess but i do think like others the stealth should be reworked abit, also its silly when a blind race(falmor) can see magelight when sneaking :P

I would like more of the artifacts from earlier games, like the Fists of Radagulf, to be added.
Yes Please! D:
Morrowind had alot of artifacts and unique weapons,Skyrim needs more unique weapons and armor/gloves/clothes etc...

If I had to pick one feature it would be the spell making alter, from previous Elder Scrolls games.

It is not Beth's fault that Microsoft is willing to pay extra so their fans get stuff early and Sony are cheap and dont care about their customers

Bethesda didn't lick anything. Microsoft paid a hefty sum to get that 30 days exclusivity. That's not licking anything on anyone. That's just competitive business. Maybe if Sony cared about it's customer base instead of having all of it's divisions absorbing the losses of it's TV Division, maybe then they'd have put in a counter offer to Bethesda. But they didn't, so MS's money got the 30 day exclusivity.

Blame Sony, not MS and Bethesda for being competitive businesses.

What about weapons that shine when the Moriah's Orcs Draugrs or Daedra are around?

That would actually be an awesome enchantment IMO!

I agree, and moreover, this money from Microsoft can be invested by Bethesda in order to craft even better and more ambitious :tes: content.

Moreover, longer wait makes the discovery even more enjoyable and sweet when it finally happens.

And if you want to put the 30 day wait into an even more positive note, just consider 360 users (like myself) as the BETA testers for the DLC. That way they'll have any necessary fixes on the way by the time it hits the other platforms. ;)

and to add to getting it earlier, i also like to think that the reason is because you Xbox players have to pay for online play...

But my $10/month for LIVE also ensures that it doesn't get hacked. ;)

Sure we had some serious downtime during the switch from original LIVE to the 360 version, but no jacking here. :D

Microsoft thinks that if they pay this much, then they'll get more revenue. Good luck with that Microsoft. Don't care in the case of PC gamers such as myself. I have mods and lots and lots of New Vegas to hold myself over.

Just commenting on the revenue topic: It does work. If it didn't, they wouldn't pay astronomical sums like they do.

Just sayin'. It's the nature of business.

Microsoft may seem like money-grubbing fatcats...but they know what they are doing. Sony on the other hand...

Don't worry, bro. It still doesn't make much sense to me either.

Why punish yourself for something... someone... else... did? I just can't wrap my mind around this.
